Haha! Funnily enough, one of our neighbours has an all-electric MG. He really rates the quality after some minor issues. He suffers from a bit of range anxiety in less than ideal conditions but is otherwise happy with it. However, at over 50 grand, payback/value for money is pretty suspect. More an act of faith than cold analysis.

See a few on ChCh streets. Every second one seems to have a Union Jack sticker on the back. Wonder if the dealer is offering the stickers at time of purchase.
Still haven't heard if the club is allowing them in.

Had a visit at one of our Ulysses guys today. His daily driver is a 61 Rover and he has a bunch of Jowett Javelins. But in one of his sheds he has a 33 Morgan. Not sure if I could make him an offer!😁😁😁

How cool is that???? Most of the 700-odd Morgan 3 wheelers were fitted with Matchless engines. If I remember correctly, JAP motors only constituted a 100 or so of those made. A rare beastie indeed!

I've seen at least one with Harley in it.

My fellow countrymen are still making eccentric sports cars. This is currently going through compliance to make it road legal..

Yeah - I watched that on the recap when it happened and I was genuinely impressed by just how rapid the thing was.

Morgan started making the three wheeler in recent years with S&S engines - or whatever. I think they may have stopped again now. There may have been one locally, I saw it at the supermarket.

Sacrilege! They've started making them with an inline triple.

The only thing i remember re the chaparral was it had a snowmobile engine maybe 2 to power the fan i think it was allowed as it was unlimited engines in Can-Am or something.

The one I saw was definitely a resurrected original. 'Er indoors and I stopped and had a chat with him down central Otago way when she had the spider.
He was keen to swap rides for a while. She wasn't.
