Maybe it made tyre changes easier? Still means you have a heavy weight up high in front of the forks increasing thier detrimental effect.

All my racing seats have been sans foam but appreciate that fast bikes could do with some adhesion. I mean proper fast.

That theory fits, as the sole one with calipers mounted behind (the RVF750) has the RC30 like flip open axle clamps.

i was reading about the RVF750 the other day one of Honda's engineers said the 360 crank saved a few KG as it needed less coils.
They used to run it with a 5 speed as 6 were not needed.

I might buy that for a project next winter.

edit - Nah just seen that it is in Norfland. Too hard to get it here and too expensive. You would have to budget for complete engine strip but you could end up with something cool. https://www.google.com/search?sxsrf=...&bih=965&dpr=1

I'd rather recondition the Titanic. Terrible photos still cant hide that level of decay. It's been outside for many years probably with a tarp. Until that blew off.

I briefly considered buying it just to piss you off, but I don't really want a *onda in the house.

Ohh he has a GS400 with a queer touring fairing. Hold me back.

I'll just leave this here... Reckon with 166k on my Hornet, it's appreciating! Perhaps I could get $10k for mine?

At the end of the model life, they were being sold for around $10-11k new...
