    This bit intersted me.
Mizuno also boasted of the 45 cameras and sensors inside and outside the vehicle, some of which are used to detect the condition of the driver to help ensure alertness and safety.
According to all bunny the tesla doesn't even have cameras so its clearly miles ahead of them

Wright’s law for auto industry states a 15% cost reduction for each doubling in production.

Tesla slashed prices in China, 40% cheaper than the U.S

Prices have been cut in OZ overnight

My prediction of Tesla coming down in purchase price will kill off gas powered cars and trucks when it doesn't make economic sense and it eventually becomes cheaper to own a brand new Tesla.

I think he's a driven visionary genius who may sometimes charge too far ahead too quickly.

As an aside, i was watching something about holiday makers leaving the north early in the face of flooding this week. A guy said he was a only leaving as he was a Tesla owner and was instructed not to drive his Tesla through water of any decent depth. Splash it is OK but don't drive it through flowing water. I guess the farm level Tesla 4WD will be a wee way away then.

The guy doesn't understand the engineering on a Tesla.

If water gets into your spark plugs or air filter, your internal Combustion car engine will cut out.

Tesla is an electric engine, you can drive it through water for a short distance if you don't mind water penetrating the cabin.

The Combustion engine can't do this because it needs oxygen and fuel to create an explosion,

EVs don't need this , I thought you guys were biking experts on how engines worked?

Visionary geniuses are uncomfortable to be around - and often leave people dragged into their vision out of pocket. Talk to anyone who was around John Britten.

Recently we had some epic suburban flooding. The casualty list was high as occasionally people found water level went from bumper level to over the bonnet in places.
Modern vehicles have electrics and computers mounted in dumb places, my wagon survived but local tow yards has to lease industrial land to store the hundreds of total loss claims.
You only have to watch a few Rufford Ford videos to see its a fine line between hero and help!

I doubt any manufacturer Tesla included designs the electrics to survive anything more than one brief low pressure inundation.

One things for sure at 1000 volts DC you’ll sure no when the limits reached!

If they are waterproof, why are insurance companies writing so many of them off?

Why do commentators send me to strange YouTube channels of insignificant YouTubers especially from last decade?

I see the insults have begun from losing this debate

I did warn you all that I am smarter than you, so that's all done and dusted, I respectfully ask the moderators of this wonderful site to close the comments section and close off the racist poll accompanying this thread, as I have obviously won the debate.

There is no longer any debate or challenge and Al Bundy is easily bored.

Goodbye and good luck and all Hail our lord and saviour Elon Musk x .

Are you getting tired living the lie of a dual login?

There is nothing racist in the poll. Feel free to tell us any special ethnic, gender or religious sensitivities you have so we don’t unintentionally hurt your feelings, kiwibiker is welcoming to all people’s.

    No. You thought wrong.

Most of us just ride bikes and don't need to understand all the intricacies of how the engine works.

Just like I can ride my wife without having to understand how her head works.

A significant YouTuber of current decade does some good maths around battery capacity and reverse engineering Tare weight. Like other non trucking people though he compares it with sleeper cabbed trucks for weight. The Tesla is a bare bones day cab, big side fairings fake look of a sleeper.
Bare bones day cab trucks of all brands are way lighter than sleeper cabs.

I agree, Tesla have some way to go to make these trucks achieve the numbers they claim. But I'd bet most of the others are over-estimating range too.

LoL: "Also essential will be the availability of cheap low-carbon 'green' hydrogen, which analysis in the new IDTechEx report highlights will be vital to FCEVs delivering the environmental credentials on which they are being sold."

Only if you believe in the tooth fairy. The drop in the ticket price has been offset by increases in "invisible" charges.
