Well there's another on TM that is taking a while . Need to pay for the van I had to replace.
If I get well enough there's an Adventure bike I'm eyeing up so that might mean another bike has to go. Could 5 be enough?

At least you don't have to look at it if you're the one riding it.

I once did a four person road trip/mountainbiking trip in a Multipla. Incredible vehicle. Comfortable, spacious, quick, and two bikes on the roof and two on the back and all the shit inside.

I have never understood the van thig with dirt bikes Dave. Other then the low ramp height?
I fully understand with road race bikes security bike not getting wet in rain etc etc
but with the dirt bikes wouldn't a ute be more butch?

Well that one is sold too. Down to five bikes.

Utes are terrible. Only good for getting out of the carpark if it rained.

Ramp height means you either have to ride it up (cue youtube or the old America's funniest home videos), or be 7' tall.

Then if you stop for a meal all your gear is exposed, gas, tools, riding kit. Do an overnight, more security issues. Inclement weather you can't change in the van. Only trailers are worse, but have advantage of low loading.

Did you buy that in Wellington (Lower Hutt)? A guy I did my apprenticeship with had a Nardi Bambina - VW 1300 barrels and pistons, might have been the VW head as well. Went a lot better than it stopped
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
