Cant speak for others but I dont like at all the idea that the US can enforce Pax Americana at the whim of a lunatic. If the people of Venezuela don't like maduro it is up to them to change things, and trumps reasons for kidnapping him have nothing to do with the human rights in that country and everything to do with the potential oil wealth

its been reported 8million venezuelas fled the country (not sure the span of years). that seems to be 1/4-1/3 the total population. i wonder how many more would of fled but didnt have the meens to do so. clearly it wasnt a very good place to be in these recent years. do you think the people still there had even the smallest of chance to upheave maduro on their own ? if not , who else would of gave any assistance ?

I guess the problem I have is they’ve spent a lot of money and killed quite a few people to remove a foreign head of state without (so far) addressing the undoubtedly corrupt government and military framework that supported him — until that changes, nothing is going to change for the average Venezuelan. Again, until they can show some evidence of that happening, I don’t see the point.

Also on the boats they keep blowing up, don’t forget there is no practical land route from South to North America (Darien gap), the only routes available are by air or by sea. This applies as much to all the Venezuelans trying to flee the country as it does to the drug trade.

Are you aware that Maduro lost an election to a legitimate opposition?. That being said The US has absolutely no mandate to do what they have done here(and many times before). ILLEGAL .They have absolutely no right to try maduro in a US court . Its all about the OIL
