Well I had a good time, I'm a bit wary of group rides, often people use them as an excuse to jump off in front of a crowd trying to impress members of the same sex. Generally I saw some fairly cruisey riding, but with the odd desperate overtaking move on the way down the hill.

Only 3 of us carried on to Ngawi for chips, Wanabee & Carnlee or however you spell it. Nice to meet you both. Was a good ride with less wind than the rest of the ride (like compared to the hill home). Tar seal all the way bar some roadworks, worth doing the ride, I hadn't for quite some years. Just head to Lake ferry & after Piranoa (sp) turn left for Cape Palliser. Good sea views.
Don't you look at my accountant.

Something to do with the battery and it not going!!! (yea I am really mechanically minded!)

Ahh would rather have a broken down Suzuki than a Honda anyday.... although I am kinda desperate for a ride.

What caused you to have this serious mental condition? Have the medical profession said whether its treatable or not?

Careful what you say on here Lissa. You may get some offers, but not the ride your talking about.

Anyway I have my bike back from the shop (its been a month since my last ride), thinking of going on a early morning ride tomorrow, got to be back by lunch time ... if anyone is coming over this way, let me know, and I might meet you guys somewhere... weather dependent of course.

Well it was hoseing down this morning so decided a hot coffee and back into bed for a while as the rimatakas didnt seem that appealing at that time, But then after lunch the sun came out, so natually we had to take the bikes out, Karmakiller and myself did a tour around Kapiti and the surrouning hills before heading back home for a coffee., Roll on the next weekend.
You know it's going to be a bad day when you jump out of bed and miss the floor.

Sounds like that was a good plan .. next weekend I am off the Manfield on Saturday for the races ... Sunday depends on the body ... but may be there ... sounds like 5 turned up this morning split into two groups and with some doing the hill ... more balls than I got ... well at least it calmed down from yesterday ....

onward and upward .. next week here we come !!!!!!!!!!!!!
