So you stopped in at the John Deer parts shop on the way through then?![]()
Well I had a good time, I'm a bit wary of group rides, often people use them as an excuse to jump off in front of a crowd trying to impress members of the same sex. Generally I saw some fairly cruisey riding, but with the odd desperate overtaking move on the way down the hill.
Only 3 of us carried on to Ngawi for chips, Wanabee & Carnlee or however you spell it. Nice to meet you both. Was a good ride with less wind than the rest of the ride (like compared to the hill home). Tar seal all the way bar some roadworks, worth doing the ride, I hadn't for quite some years. Just head to Lake ferry & after Piranoa (sp) turn left for Cape Palliser. Good sea views.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
I am so peeved I missed this ride. Got my bike in the shop at the moment, its been over a month since I last rode it, and I am throughy depressed and have no one to take it out on!!!!
Glad you guys all had a good time though, hopefully next Sunday!![]()

Normal meet - 10 am at Rimutex .. I won't be there this week .. but that should not deter anyone ... gives for a quicker ride really![]()
Well it was hoseing down this morning so decided a hot coffee and back into bed for a while as the rimatakas didnt seem that appealing at that time, But then after lunch the sun came out, so natually we had to take the bikes out, Karmakiller and myself did a tour around Kapiti and the surrouning hills before heading back home for a coffee., Roll on the next weekend.
You know it's going to be a bad day when you jump out of bed and miss the floor.
Sounds like that was a good plan .. next weekend I am off the Manfield on Saturday for the races ... Sunday depends on the body ... but may be there ... sounds like 5 turned up this morning split into two groups and with some doing the hill ... more balls than I got ... well at least it calmed down from yesterday ....
onward and upward .. next week here we come !!!!!!!!!!!!!
