When I broke my shoulder the test for me was whether I could emergency stop or not. Until I could push forward on the handlebars with full strength and bent elbows I stayed off the road.
I wouldn't risk making things worse if I was in your position.
Check out some motorcycle vlogs while you're laid up. Worked for me. Well kinda helped anyway.
Did it 2weeks after I got out of hospital after having my elbow rebuilt & was wearing a hinged cast and rode 40kms to a post-operation check-up/x-ray then rode home again

A dislocated is weak enough at 1st and will always be weak afterwards so you don't want to make it worse than it has to be.
