Go into AMPS and ask Lou about the reliability of the rental fleet if you want some hard facts.

They don't do it for me, but if they do it for you that's cool, why worry about about what other people think. You only pass this way once, so do it your way. I've never really been one to follow the herd.

However ... I've found that Harley riders tend to take the bait rather well, so giving them a hard time about their ride can be fun And, of course, KB is a great place to go fishing

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, .... but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out,... shouting "man, what a ride"!!!

    Because they are different
    Because they sound funny
    Because they look funny
    Because they can
    Because they leak
    Because they are too loud
Because some people who ride them give the rest a bad name
    Because they cannot corner
Because they are recognised with gangs
    Because they can
Because they are not someones cup of tea
Because some people havent ridden one
Because some people believe everything others tell them
    Because they can

Just a few reasons, pick what you feel like. Each to their own though
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

Yeah - I edited that post cause it sounded like I was angrier than I am.

    Hi

I used to dislike harleys when I was a teenager but now with an older view on things and after working in a Harley shop my attitude is changed.
I'd buy one if I was rich as cruising around looking/sounding the part is bound to be fun (probably impress the ho's too)
You don't see many bike brands where the self employed are getting twin cams and the gangmembers/hoods or drug dealers are riding round on FXR's or old EVO's etc..

The give good milage - 50mpg is no problem.
I wouldn't call them unreliable - at least the Evo's on anyway.
They do the job they were meant for.

It's so true that some people with Jap cruisers say they dislike Harleys, but
really if they had the cash they would trade their japper copy in a second for the image/prestige that Harley brings.
Have seen them "come around" plenty of times.
Not that there is anything wrong with Jap criusers I know they are good machines.

You just can't congregate at the local cafe for a latte on anything but the original...

    Cheers

Whats with the little boys riding ricer 250's trying to do "teh internetz battle" with the grown ups?

    Feeling a little insecure?

Or are ya just a pack of poofs?

    Muhahahahaha.

Buy a real bike, and tell people what you think to their faces.

Go on ladies, I dare you.

Or, You could just roll into a little ball, stick ya thumb in ya mouth, and have a little cry over the fact that no one waves to ya pansy arse.
