Thumbs up Poos has a new bike

Today I took delivery on a 07 suzuki RMZ250 via Dave Anderson Motorcycles in masterton....fan frickin tastic deal once again [honestly guys...try them...they are the best dealership I've ever encounted!!!]

Shit this things got some power...these modern 4 strokes have come along way in such a short time...and whats more amazing is how well the thing hooks up!! the speeds you can get out of corners is nothing short of amazing!! so after 15mins 7 bins I was absaloutly stuffed!! but sooo stoked!!
as I have been missing dirt bikes big time since leaving the farm 8mnths ago.
And it should I hope help with race fitness...might even enter in a few off-road events along the way too...

Ahh good times!! now I need some play buddys in ham's

Lucky cunt! How do you get all these great deals? If I had a dirty bike I'd come play with ya.

Mate nice one. Where were you riding it?

As for hooking up you've heard me rave on about what I thought of my WR when I bought it so won't bore you with any more detail, but that is what surprised me 3 years ago just how these things make torque, unheard of with the more vintage short stroke engines.

Never hit mine on the Yam but its somewhere above 13,500 going by the speeds I know I've done in the gears. I've not raced mine but I have enjoyed how it just winds up and showers everyone behind with rocks and as you say the hook up is terrific. You've told me before some of that is to do with the Michelin tyres, they certainly work. What you got on the Suz?
    Cheers

    Question Nice bike CP.

What sort of power/torque do these things put out compared to the DRZ400, just out of interest?
