Very glad you are OK. There are more Honda's but only one of you.
What I don't "get" about these red-light-runner threads (never had it happen to me)... are these people who follow traffic through the lights and keep going when it goes oranage then red, or are these people who just drive up to a light that's already red and don't bother to stop?
I can't understand how they do what they do.
Measure once, cut twice. Practice makes perfect.
Crikey, no good to hear something like that - but glad to hear you are with us and able to post about it. I know what you mean about red light runners, often where I am - I can see streams of cars behind in my mirrors when the light has obviously turned red (considering I only made it across when it just turned amber/orange!)
Well, hope you heal up quickly and have the admin come through quickly.

Yes a gun firing a warning shot through the head is a good idea.
Kiwibike brokers are doing all the work for me on the insurance side.

Sad news indeed, glad you're able to tell the tale though.
bummer to hear about the red light runner... one that didn't get away with it.
I'm so over riding a bike around town, there are just too many tossers who think they are above the road rules, I dont trust any of them.
Much safer on the track...hope you are back on both bikes very soon.
Ya sound like you are on the way to improvement, roll on the akers bucket meet![]()
You guys need a videographer so we can see just what you lot get up to in the far north![]()

Heal fast. Great news that you're okay.Whens the funeral for the CBR?
In Auckland, green doesn't mean go, it means look right, look left , look right then go!
There are no strangers in Kiwi Biker, only friends I haven't yet met.

It is only when we have lost everything that we are free to do anything.
Sorry to hear about the bike and your injuries. Hope the bike is replaced and you heal up well. I do not know what it is with people running red lights these days. I was sitting in my car at a red light, listening to the music, when a car at speed ran straight through the red light that I was stopped for. Two cars had to take evasive actions and very narrowly missed this turkey. Someone blasted their horn also and the said turkey just stuck his/her hand out the window and gave the finger. As most got the number plate and there was plenty of witnesses, hopefully this turkey will not be on the road for much longer and will be somewhat lighter in the wallet area. More to the point, hopefully the said turkey will learn from the consequenses and never repeat the stupidity that was displayed.
Those who insist on perfect safety, don't have the balls to live in the real world.
