He he, who should happen along today while i'm watching them line up at the Targa but the dealer on said traded ZX10, guess what? It was'nt green!!!

Quite the nice mustard yellow (not Triumph yellow either....well not quite) done 11000k with nice sounding Remus cans. Reckons $15.5k for it which seems entirely reasonable given it's absolutely spotless. Time too trade up Cowboyz!

2 things wrong with that idea.

    1. Its not right if its not green.

    2. Have you seen the pillion seats on the ZX10R? The 9 was a healthy compromise between getting an armchair and a sportsbike. Mrs Cowboyz will not be impressed if her seat gets any smaller. I tried telling her all bikes were like that and then Meanie put her on the back of the Super Armchair and put paid to that.

I could fix all that right now if you would like me to.. Will take a pic of the Duc pillion seat that mrs V8 gets to park on, I am sure mrs cowboyz will look at hers as luxury.. lol

well mrs yod and I are heading to Taupo tomorrow on our lovely comfortable sheepskin-coated Smoothzooki (sorry Lance, wont be leaving at 5am) to escort the green one home after the track day

thinking of leaving around 9-10ish and going vinegar hill, main road to turangi, then round the west side of the lake to taupo (never done it, heard it rocks) = roughly 300km

all welcome, route is open to suggestions

I was going to come home that way if I am not too late. All depends on what happens at the track.

I was hoping to get some better pics but they'll do for a start. Had a few more but couldn't upload them. Bloody dial up, it has to go!!! The new tyre seems quite similiar to the power, I'm betting you'll get more than 2K tho. I would hope lol. Just got back from Wellie, first time I'd ridden the Triumph for ages. My rear suspension was still set for two up - very twitchy. Must wind it back a notch. The tractors a bit pissed, but hey. Priorities eh!

Actually, Sarah says she'd like to keep her. If that's OK? (just kidding, pleasure to have her in the garage mate, she's fitted in real well)

good on ya, havent been out with you lot for a while

ok so as mentioned, we could do palmy to dannevirke via highway 2, turn off up 50 to napier then nip back to taupo on highway 5, then come back round the western side of the lake on 32 and 41 to turangi, then home with 54 thrown in for good measure....

thats about 300 there and 300 back

meet at ashhurst servo at 9? meet Sarge at the dannevirke bp at 9:30?

How funny, I thought you said you were heading to Napier last weekend....

The majority of my family are in Taradale.... Now there could be a ride to sort out next time a visit is in order.
