Dunedin rides

I've seen him doing the laps around the Octagon/George street course.

Out for drinks with my sibs one night in the octagon and I can't remember how many times i saw him go by...

must be bored huh... though at least he is riding not just sitting there drinking... oh wait I do that sometimes too...

Unfortunately in my family I'm the only one who rides "one of those death-traps" so I have to be content with the just sitting there and ...

although, so far as i know more ppl have died in cars than on bike

Aahhh, that answers my question. Mutley and I had a job to do in Alexandra yesterday morning, and the huge number of trailers with trail bikes on the road was stunning! Now we know...

We spent the weekend in Cromwell, enjoying the great weather - unfortunately we were of course in the work cage... Every bike I saw was greeted with a jealous muttering...

We passed a lovely blue cruiser at "The Big Fruit" at Cromwell on Saturday afternnon, and as I muttered "bastard" under my breath, Mutley said "That's Free2B...!" We followed her into the mall carpark and joined her for a coffee.

Hope you had a great ride to Wanaka, G. Did you do the Crown Range detour? We did it this arvo in the cage - bikes galore...

I sure did and it was a great ride kept scrapin my feet tho have to remember to lift the inside one up a bit. That was sooo funny when you pulled up beside me in the carpark. Ride home was nice too apart from the close encounter with yet more of the white fluffly things...think my bike is a sheep magnet!! at least I missed these ones

Hey guys, im pretty new to Dunedin.... done a few rides through middlemarch and then back around the loop through Palmerston. And the big loop through Lindis pass another time. You guys have got some awesome quiet roads down here... Hoping to get out a lot on the scooter over summer so might catch up with a few of you guys!

Thanks Delphinus, yeah I am really enjoying the big open spaces of the south island. I have got a lot more exploring to do yet, but what I have seen so far really impresses me!

Welcome to Dunedin, we do a few (dis)organised rides every now and then, as well as (dis)organised met ups to various rallies in the area... keep an eye on this thread or the various rally threads (thats if you are into rallies)

Yup we are lucky to have awesome roads so close hope you enjoy

Cool.... I fly back to the far north on Sunday, wont be back until Jan.... but as soon as I get back I plan to be riding every weekend the suns shinning!
