Bad luck there speedie , How is the shopping going ?![]()
Gixxers are one of the easiest bikes to ride. That is their problem in my personal opinion.
You think you are doing 160 but you're doing 220-260 .... then woops.
================================================== ====
Sorry to hear about your crash G, hope you had insurance. Or are you gonna have to catch the train/bus/walk like KB's original idiot.
Time for a gixxer thou mate - get a K5/K6 - best real-world bike ever made.
sucks bro.
mend up and get another bike
was gonna text ya today actually!
Touch luck speedie guess you took the training wheels off to soon
Nice to see its only your arm in a sling! it's usually your arse
What to buy next ???? maybe something with THREE wheels![]()
YES its fast and NO you can't have a ride!
hmmm yeah but like oarbreaka (patrick) was following my mate tony out piha tony threw his little cbr 250 into a corner going perrty quick trying to get knee down....which he couldnt get at that stage...
and patrick came round at same speed possibly slower because hes a n00b.... and just lost the rear and stacked it......i mustve heard of 10 gixxers going down in the last month from loosing the rear mid corner.....maybe all the weight comes off the rear mid corner....
heck i dunno i might look into it...either way i'm never buying a modern gixxer not withcurrent frames..... and the fact of being well known for crashing...going to go 07 zx6r or 06-07 zx10r..but cannot decide...
08zx10r is bloodey hideous....yuck.
yeah... the kawasaki's don't use the same frame materials or anything do they? Why, I bet its still steel! Riders are the ones mostly in control of the bike. Certain brands attract certain riders... fact.
speedie, damn shame to hear... I know you liked that speshal bike of yours...Least you're not hurt too bad (besides the ego anyway)

1) Gixxers crash more often? Yup. There's probably twice as many post 2000 GSXRS on the road than any other model of Sports bike. Then consider that ANY late model sportsbike has a huge front end weight bias and also that the majority of owners leave the suspension as it left the factory pleading ignorance.
2) Back on the frame buzz? Riddle me this O instant expert on frame manufacturing. I load MY GSXR frame far more than can be on the road everytime I ride the bike. And this is me, not Andrew Stroud of our mate Mr Shirriffs or Robby Bugden or Ray Clee. They take it to a whooooole new level. GSXRs at race tracks are like asreholes, everybodys got one. So where are all these catestrophic frame failures you seem to know so much about? I've yet to hear of one on the track.
3) Please do get the ten, and hurry up about it. I need a rider trainer. Ta.
Vote David Bain for MNZ president
She lit up alright Glen, Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarp!
The Hilda Ogden of today;
Mate, i'm tempted to say, sitting in the garage, it almost looks as bad as yours did
The funniest thing after the fact was the 2 chickies that were full on doctors; or rather claimed they were. One was the hottest lookin Blonde i'd seen in a while whilst the other was pissed out of her tree.
She kept on slurring and telling you to take ya t-shirt of; i had to have a quite word with her and politely ask her to foook of!
Same with the crowd that built up, i could have charged entry fees to the gawkers on the side of the road and when i said 'thanks for coming everyone, the shows over now, have a safe journey home' it was like every one came out of a trance and just left.
k8 black and gold ..![]()
:slap:
Sad to here about ya off Glenn, get well soon, and looking forward to what you get next.
