Cursed bikes, jinxxed bikes, got any stories?

My and Jantar's last bike took two healthy arms: it dislocated Jantar's left shoulder and broke my right collarbone.
Two shoulder injuries inside a month,
    same remote australian hospital,
    probably the same doctor even!

Got any stories of cursed bikes? Bikes that just keep on hurting or breaking down or whatever?

Can't think of any that even come close to that evil Postie Bike.
An old Honda Four always broke down when I needed it the most, and an XR500 would flood and kick back when I tried to look cool starting it. (especially around German Backpacker Girls)
But that little CT sounds like the most evil.

Its the worst I've struck in a short time period, but a GT750 waterbucket I owned many moons ago spat me off twice, then threw the guy who owned it after me. Some years later I saw it at a Brass Monkey rally with further sighs of accident damage.

Did you ever find that Postie bike again Steam? And how about your gear? I hope you recovered everything.
    Time to ride

Me old mate bought an ATV.

    Cheap.

The prior owner had died in the saddle.

A head on collision with the hay forks on his tractor.

Speared him, he bled to death, all over the bike.

    Bike was cursed.

I own a bike that was raced by two of NZs top road racers both of whom were killed racing motorcycles. Doesn't faze me in the slightest when I ride the bike.

The CX seems to like spitting me off at the most inconvenient times.

Not cursed to the same extent, but I've owned two KR150's in my time and went through about 7 throttle cables between them. Luckily they always seemed to break when I was within pushing distance of a bikeshop.

Search for posts by the quandam member Ramius, and the history of his dread and accursed GSX

But be sure to only do so whilst within a pentacle , wearing garlic. And carry naked steel. The dark malevolent powers that were channeled by that bike were never birthed within this universe. Thank gods the bike was crushed before it could do any more harm (not that it dodn't do enough)

I suspect the black VFR750 was cursed - it had been crashed before I bought it, and I crashed it four more times.
Either that, or it was just very lazy and liked lying down for a kip in the middle of the road.
No - it wasn't just my useless riding; the bike I owned before that I had for 6 years with no problems. And apart from three silly drops at near-standstill, and writing off my first bike because I was young'n'stupid, I've been accident free.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Now THAT is cursed. Jeez! I wouldn't ride a bike that someone had died on, unless it was just because of a heart attack or something unrelated.

Yeah, I was amazed he bought it, Not that I believe the bike was actually haunted but, well, I would have rather bought a bike that the last owner didn't die a horrible death on.

And true to form, On that bike, If you hit a little bump you were thrown off,...and run over. If you went on an off camber she flipped, then rolled over you. Tires would roll off the rim 100KM into the backblocks.

When it was on sold for a dew hundred dollars a year later it was a wreck, smashed plastics, bent frame, ruined.

I would just point the finger at the owner/rider, but he has had 2 bikes since and had no issues with them, both are still mint.

I had a friend at university who was born the day before me. He also wrote off his bike the day before I wrote off my first one, and Eggs Zachary the same way: t-boned a car. (Freaky, huh?)

His bike probably was cursed, as it was a Yamaha XS650 that the previous owner was killed on.
    ... and that's what I think.
