    Urgh!

Ripper weekend, great crew to drink and talk shit with, a little less drinking would have been a good idea for me as a nurse my stove-in ribs! (who kicked me eh?).

Anyway not too much to add at this stage, most of it's been said!!

CB had to pack the bikes (while nursing a sore wrist from when she arsed-up on one of the benches) while I tried to reassemble my head and we left about 10-ish (I think).

Headed off over the Leader to Hanmer with Shrek as company for CB and I, booked a room here at the camping ground and had a loooong soak in the hot pools, helped my ribs a bit.

Off for an early night now, later guys..

Great to meet you all. it was a great spot to stay and my tent didn't leak so success all round. Rang home to let them know i was on my way but no-one was home so i turned right and headed to Kaikoura. Fuel and a quick bite to eat and then for the first time i rode the inland road North to South. Not a cloud in the sky and it just got hotter and hotter ( the crap tar was getting softer too). pushed on past Culverden and decided to stop for a drink along the Balmoral straight. Must have been 30 degrees. then as usual it got colder the closer i got to Christchurch. looking forward to next years.

Pulled into Dunners @ 7.25pm. After visiting a mate in ChCh I met Mark (Cold Comfort) & Jack (Delphinius) filling up with Gas. We clicked off some miles and had lunch at "The Chequered Flag" Rangitata, then pressed on to Timaru to see Tim (Phaedrus) in Hospital. He was surprisingly perky considering the pain (More morphine please) and as Mark pointed out, probably a year in recuperation & Physio for a full shoulder reconstruction, BUMMER eh?
Had a nice little squirt thru Trotters Gorge (turn off just after Moeraki and come out @ Palmerston) Thanks M & J for the company.

Great W/end everybody. The night was a hoot! We will be doing this again

Great to hear you coaxed that wobbly steed of yours back to the corral Jen. A privilege to hang out with you all for the w/e. and put faces to names. The SP capped off some of the best riding i've had in yrs after an awesome trip up the W/Coast. The efforts of all to put the W/E together much appreciated.
Cheers to Xnuts and Delphinus for the company on the "long and NOT windy" road home. Great to see all the pics already posted while i'm still sitting on a soft cushion and fumbling with my camera!

Great weekend people, and I finally met the infamous SCUMDOG-more man than most! Geez-big ups to Cruza-I followed him all the way home, cause my brain was stuck in 'slow' mode, and making independent decisions was pruving futile!! Awesome weather, great people, great food, too much alcohol-thanks Jen& co,you created a cracker!

My first overnighter with the KBers and I had an awesome time

It was a pleasure to meet each and every one of you -what a great bunch of people you all are

The ride through to Kaikoura/lunch stop, then the afternoon ride back was awesome. It was a cool sight to see the whole range of different bikes cruising thru some of the twisty hilly bits.

You young ones that had to go home for a "nana nap" - I dont know I will only admit to a slight headache caused by dehydration on the way home

Two gorgeous men to dance with(1 young & tall, the other slightly more mature & distinguished)wot could be better
Think I need to get out more!!

New Years resolution - A Rally
Thanks to all of you that organised the weekend.Hope I behaved well enough to be allowed to come again
