There was a Beast King parked outside the building next door yesterday, so natcherly, I went over an cast an X-spurt eyeball over it.
    Aaiiiiiieeeeee!

    My eyes! MY EYES!!!!

Yup, it's even uglier in the flesh. A hideously bodged-together thing it is, to be sure, to be sure, at all at all.

A bit like this guy (I'm sure you can see the family resemblance. Prolly the same arsembly line...)

Yeah its one of those bikes you either like or don't honstly i love the look at it, but hey i got no taste i got a bright yellow bike right now that i love looking at also,
but riding it is very different, handle so much better than you expect and pull like anything and is so smoooooooth, i have read some things how people did not like looking at it but felt very different once riding.

I'm a big fan of completely bad mouthing poor design. I love producing pithy rejoinders to other people's defense of the indefensible.

However, riding the B-King dispels any notion that a bike has to look good to be good. It doesn't need to grow on you, it just is. That has a value all its own in a world that demands period-based design conformity.

It's more flickable than any Ducati you care to point at in a line up, it has more power than any Honda, it's better built than any Kawasaki, and it has better forks than any Yamaha ever made. It would be my first Lotto win purchase. If I bought Lotto tickets.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

So who was the dude pulling out from Maire St. Orewa at 8am this mornin'? Probably just left the Caltex station?

First time I had seen one "in the flesh", so to speak and it looked okay to me.

Some of you lot are dillusional

Firstly, what is it, is it a racer no, is it a dragster no, is it a tourer no, is it a street fighter no, is it a commuter well best fit ,yes.
I spent time going over this bike in welly on Saturday and fail to come up with anything positive to say about it at all.
The bike is extremely bulky up front, from the riders view it could be likened to sitting on the bonnet of a old Impala, its fucking huge, the arse ,well what a joke, its a mish mash of weird desing trying to impress someone (who knows) basically poor design vs no functionality.
Of all the bikes I have ever seen come into the market in the last few years this one is the most pathetic piece of junk to come outta japan............................ever and suitably it has come from Suzuki, it has no place for anything or for anyone.

    sheesh...............piece of crap

just my and mosts view point

Im just glad the Suzuki dealer in Hamilton is no more so I dont see any down here.
Ive run out of fucks to give

Fuck me I've just found somthing we agree on at last Brett I had a look at one of these Burger Kings today at Haldanes and all I can say is what a totaly pig ugly lump of metal and mostly plastic, pure unaduterated shit. I bet its fast though but that will be the only string that it has to its bow.

Well Quasi, I got to hand it to you.
Right on with both the BKing and the 08 Busa.
There was a 08 busa down the drags on Friday night. I didn't see it run on the strip, but apparently it was running high 9s, which is pretty bloody impressive. However, to anyone rushing in to put a deposit on one, I strongly suggest you wait until you have seen it. The arse end is fooken hideous!
Still, unlike the BKing at least one end of the busa looks ok.

    I'm agreed there.

However, I suspect that for them as plonk down their cash on one, it's probably a case of not being able to see the mantelpiece while stoking the fire.

F'rinstance, the only reason I'm getting a GSX1400 instead of a Multistrada is the $7,000 price tag difference.

Multistradas are fuckin ugly, but I'd still have one if I could afford the new 1100.

Sometimes a bike rides well enough that you just stop caring about how awful it looks.
kiwibiker is full of love, an disrespect.

Just for the hell of it Im gonna ask Mike at Maunders in Whangarei if I can take their one for a blast this Saturday. Not so sure about the tank size (16ltr?) and yes they are butt ugly but I guess they already knew that at the factory? Thing is, people will buy them, oh well, keeps the physiologists employed

I saw my first in the weekend.

I was expecting the B-King to be a physically 'big bike'...imposing and a genuine muscle bike.

    It aint none of that.
