Due to reasons outlined in this thread, I doubt very much that I'll be coming along on wednesday anyway
And maybe that issue will extend all the way into the new year![]()

SO any ideas for this week????
Gold Diggers....like hookers just smarter
I don't think I will be getting out this week unfortunately, might make it to BK in the cage just to say hi.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.
Well this lubrication falling from the sky is supposed to stop tonight (according to MetVUW) so it might be ok tomorrow. I really need a ride so humour me...
interesting that no one is fowarding any suggestions on destinations for tomorrow.
I do not expect to be there this week, or the following two after but since we have either ridden past or stopped to regroup outside the Wheatsheaf a couple of times now could I suggest it might be nice for them if the group goes in to spend some cash there soon for a change.
Cheers
TA.
funny, no matter how many times I ask or am told how to spell Wheatsheaf I can't remember the correct way

Roadsafe (www.roadsafe.co.nz) taught us to drop down a gear & power "through" the wind. As you mentioned, you do get to predict after a while.. by keeping an eye on the surroundings.. eg: expecting a gust where a tall hedge or row of trees ends.

mmm $10 meal sounded good, from last week, hanging out for a blat, just finished putting bike back together and went and got don to rivet new xring chain on, wasn't raining here , but as usual it was closer to town.
Geez Paul, it will be a new bike now!![]()
Hell yeah I'm keen for a ride this week, went round the bays, through Gebbis and out Tai tapu last night about 8.30 was awesome!
Yep alot better than the clunking I kept hearing comin back from staging post ,brakes seem sharper with new fluid too. drained just over 1 litre from the gas tank when I took it off to adjust valve clearances, just as well I put a little more fuel in it at cheviot, otherwise I would have been pushing.
mmm $10 meal, don't remind me... did I say I won't be there tomorrow?? I meant to say I probably won't be there tomorrow... or that's a bit like saying I might not be... could be mistaken for sounding like might be.awww I want to go too
There will be shingle involved 4 me if I go!

Whereabouts is this $10 meal thing? My partner's away doing a road trip with an old friend of hers so I'm not being cooked for at the moment... and a $10 meal as a lazy cop out option is sounding good to me!![]()
Soapbox house of cards and glass, so don't go tossing your stones around.
You musta been.... high. You musta been...
Devocials it was, nice feed, fully fattening.... but thats not a bad thing, it did take a little time to be fed, and we nattered a bit, so a ride home just at sun down, bloody nice all the same, and adds to the experience in so many ways.![]()
