I have just read this very moving thread. Very sorry to heard of such sadness and injustice in so many ways.

Life must go on and I wish all of those affected the very best for the future.

Maurs has been checking out a couple of bikes, so hopefully she will find one. The one she wants won't be out until December 08, that new triumph triple. But she is trying to get something else to ride in the mean time. It's gotta be hard with all this good weather and no bloody bike, let alone the gap in the garage where her rocket 111 should be.

I'm going for a test ride with Maurs on the 3rd of January.
She was thinking about 3 bikes and now has it down to one.
Which she did a short test ride on and seemed to like.
I'm going with her on another bike that she did like and take her friend on it, as it is a better two up bike than mine.
So she can ride either or both solo and take a pillion when she wants.

So it is possible she may have a new bike soon.
Feel the fear and do it anyway

There are alot of highly educated idiots out there.

Yeah she mentioned the 3rd. Her and jaine thought it was really nice of you to go with them the other day, they really appreciated it. I think she seemed a little unsure about the guzzi cos its only an 1100 but I imagine she'll sus that out when she can take it for a better ride. I hope it all works out, it will be good to see her back on the road. She took a wee rocket 111 model down to the crem for Brendon on xmas day, so sweet aye.

Yeah it's pathetic aye. Especially when it's his second aggrivated driving charge! They should be ringing me about the restorative meeting next week so that will be interesting, not sure what to expect yet. Maurs seemed to like that Guzzi she took out with lemans. Hopefully she will have bike soon.

Maurs has new wheels! She dropped round on her new triumph tonight, it arrived in chch this morning. Real nice, even though it's just a fill in till the new triumph comes out at end of year. Think she will be very happy being back on two wheels instead of four!

As for the dickhead that started all this - I assume hes still in the same location as before the sentancing, in which case everyone can feel free to test their engines down Waller Terrace!

It's a Triumph America, 96 I think. Show room condition, dark green - nice. Needs a sissy bar - needs to beable to tie on her laptop for work! and has had new set of pipes but hasn't been tuned properly to them so she's having a tinker this weekend to get it all up to standard. As for a number - sure do! Its an apartment block, so can't miss it. apartment 12 number 41 waller tce.

The pics of her bike look great! Think it's suits her, can't wait to meet her new toy on a ride soon.

The meeting is getting sorted now. Just trying to get a date for maurs and myself to meet with the people from restorative justice, there is two of them and maurs and myself so it is a matter of getting a date that suits all of us. Then he will meet with them, getting a date for that won't be a problem cos he aint going anywhere! then we get to do the meeting with Mason. So as soon as we get that sused it will be happening, hopefully in the next few weeks.
And I must add to SDUs comment - Ride by don't knock on the front door! As much as I feel like hurting him that wouldn't make it right. Brendon wasn't a violent person and he wouldn't want us to take that sort of stand. But the sound of a bike rumbling by would stick in his mind, make him think about what he's done. The sentance he got from the court won't teach him anything but a few mental reminders of that night and who was on the road might. Cheers.

The first part of the meeting is underway. Me and Maurs meet with the people from restorative justice on sunday 27th to discuss the process and what to expect when we meet Mason. Then we will set a date to meet him providing he still agrees to go through with it.
