Kills them nasty germs!
Where?
You know where!
Where we first meet on that Thursday night way back in 07, the wind was in your hair, the sun was in your eyes and there was a stone in my brake!

Is it a bleeding tar goat track or a nicely sealed twisty heaven?
Edit: Fellow motorcyclist at work just confirmed it is not a bleeding tar goat track. Yay.
I did it both in one day, the day after boxing day. Farkin looooved it!! There are quite a few wash outs leading onto one way lanes etc but they are clearly marked. I really enjoyed them both way's but had to say that coming from Raetihi to Wanganui was best as there were only 2 cars on the road the whole time. Believe me you have to do the Parapara's. I still reckon that the Taka's are better but this is longer and there isnt really an up hill down hill. Its tar sealed the whole way and it is twisty not *too* twisty like the Taka's but loads and loads of fun!!

Yep, Waiouru sux!
Went up the parapara's the day after watching the boxing day races in Wanga's as we were staying there for a couple of nights, so that's why I goto to do it twice in one day. Glad I did too as I blew up the bike (my partners) a week later. Another interesting road was going over Saddle road through Paihiatua etc, which is the way we went home after Wanganui. We stopped at the windmills/ turbines, pretty cool place. I did about 800 k's in 2-3 day's after Boxing day, we are really lucky to have some awesome roads around the lower North Island!!
