Queued up at the lights at the end of Hobson to get on the SH16 this weekend - in the cage with the missus this time. Front of the Q except a gixxer 1 in front - guy in full leathers.
Now I like to nail it (as safe) on these 'on ramps' and get to the limit sharpish and my jap 2L V6 is no slouch. Turning traffic from the SH1 put some traffic a little ahead on the road, but I start accelerating at 80% and dropping the other cars. The gixxer though is pulling away from us lazily, and the rider is barely doing anything.
"Why's he so slow?" I ask the missus - "he must be getting ready to go". Bang on cue he dumps the clutch, wheelstands, and zips past the traffic ahead as though it was standing still.

Now to me, the rider looked in control, was riding safely, having some fun. And yes, I am generally against these things -
Because he still freaked out one or two cagers and got us all some more bad rep.

That 10 yr ban article was truly frightening - let's keep the heat off us by being a little more low profile with some of the 'funner' aspects of biking eh?

Someone took the photo, so they had to be there. If they weren't, it never happened.

It might've been a speshul anti-wheeeeelie camera. Y'know - like a speeed camera, but set to trigger for wheeelies and other "stupid stuntin' shit like that there".
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

Fair enough, that wheelie clearly never happened, and the photo is proof of a crack in the space time continium. If it is not destroyed the entire world might implode. MODS, GET RID OF THE HERETIC PICTURE!!!

Mebbe we need to introduce logic to this here argument. Or failing that, semantics. (No, the root word of that isn't 'semen').

Right, if wheeeelies are neither big nor clever, what if someone who is big AND clever does them? :spudwhat:
And what if that big + clever person does a big wheelie in a very clever manner? Doesn't that make wheelies BIG + clever X2? Or is that squeeerd?
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

AND (furthermore, also, as well) it is proof of a localised gravitational anomaly.

Certainly does if Dan had the wheel up longer than the shutter speed.
