Well I thought I would put my hard earnt $14.95 to good use and make the first post asking what the hell they are going to do, since not even the moderators are making communication on the forums.

To bad you got our address wrong.

I never seen a forum site where they expect you to pay to participate. It's very hard to get active members on a site when there is already an established one of the same subject, but to expect people to pay as well?? The owners must have rocks in their heads if they think they will get back the money they have spent setting it up and advertising it.

Now taking bets on when it gets shutdown. I'd be surprised to still see it running more than a year.

The Something Awful forums, I think they charge to get rid of the banner adds (at least), and have something like 110,000 users, and 3500 logged in at anyone time. The mind boggles as to how much money a site like that pulls and costs to run

I see thats really going off. So many posts I was worried I might not get to read them all before the day was out.
Its a to much to charge people join the site and then charge them again if they want to use additional features.
