After my first ride with the ATNR crew last week, I might come back out South where you are free to 'ride' with other equally confident riders who do not require a follow the leader approach.

So you cannot rename this ride to a Solo one boys!

your more than welcome, we are lucky out this way, we have so many choices, when it comes to where we want to go on any particular ride. and most peps that come on our rides know the area well, or know how to get the pub if they get left behind.
My hat off to the Qks, they do a great job, I don't mind joining there rides, just another option for a thursday nite ride for me
Why would you ride that long and that gnarly stuff if you don't have to, Its what we do, we love it.

Awesome stuff, wicked ride guys...nice to see ya's again, feels like it's been ages!!

Even got the priviledge to ride an ancient Ducati - thanks Richard that was fun looking forward to a bigger ride next time

Stify and I had a hardcase moment in Papakura on the way to the motorway - sitting at the lights, big high five, then revving up to drag race off as we do from time to time and something made me look behind us and there is a Police Car right there...lucky stuff really or that woulda been one of those embarrassing moments to remember huh!!!

See ya's on the next one.

Snap - I was coming back along Alfriston rd 80km zone doing about 100km coming into the round about and mister plod is going round and heads back towards Manurewa. So I have no choice but to follow him up the hill at 50km with that sinking feeling, I'm also thinking I must be blinding him as my front light is very bright.

Next thing he pulls to the left and on go the lights, I thinking o shit as I go pass, But no it's not me he's after as he does a U turn and heads after the boy racer who had been coming the other way.

All in all a great South Auckland ride and Oldguy didn't get to ride with those other strange mates of his.

    cheers

Richard spotted me today and justly chastised me for my prolonged absence on Thursday nights and John turned up to reinforce the lesson.

    What a F**K up

Well what a f**k up, I went to all the trouble to set up a new ride.
The South Auckland Solo Thursday Night ride, the idea was for people to express interest, and say they are going to come along, but not turn up, but what the f**k happens they turned up.
I had to change all my plans.

On a serious note, was great to catchup with you guys.
GG, stify, Richard and BigB was good to get out there again, has been a while guys, so hope it starts to pickup again.

Was good to catch up with you Mike, hope to see you on Thursday night.
that rear tyre looks real slick doesn't it.
Why would you ride that long and that gnarly stuff if you don't have to, Its what we do, we love it.
