you ever noticed riding fast in a tricky area always feels faster (try riding through a mall on a pit bike)

You are alive still, but my question is when you take out a fellow kb kid or partner or any family member I think you will need to run,and fast.

Oh and I'm not a saint on the road re speed, just that I don't do 160km on my bike,or pull wheelies, got over that by buying an XR200.IT175.TS185 and playing at it off road.To me going quick in gravel and grass surfaces is more fun than blasting at twice legal limit on the road.
been there, done the grass/gravel stuff
i know what trucks stop like, i drive them!

Well nope don't own a harley never will, just saying I don't treat the road as my personel track when on two wheels, mind you I did creep up to 160km on a straight piece of SH3,after a guy in an altessa zoomed by,got the accord up to the ton and radar beeped, lasted all of 5 seconds and road empty and dry and fine.Funny thing by the time we had gone 10km up the road he was only 3-400 mtr ahead due to cars ahead, and not able to pass safely.

Yep 160km is fast enough on a 20 yr bike, and fast enough to say cheerio to license, that means NO JOB,which means NO HOME,as no dough to pay mortgage, something when you get older could be of benefit.

    Rule No 1 for speeding.

    Don't get caught.
    Rule No 2 for speeding.
Don't stop instantly for any reason.
    Other than that, go hard.

There are only two reasons for not obeying the above rules.
    1 Bad luck
    2 Stupidity

The result of not obeying the above rules can be quite serious.

By the sounds of it, statistically, your better off speeding than going into the public health system for surgery where bad luck and stupidity seem to reign.

This ads another dimension to the equasion as, if you broke rule No 2, you are most likely going to be entering the public health system, or the morgue, either way, statistically, your pretty well stuffed.

I worked with serious crash units for 3 years. Serious motorcycle accidents numbered about 7 for those units over those 3 years. Most were caused by bad luck, on the riders part, and a couple through stupidity. 1 was during an organised track race with professional riders.

As for the carnage - not pretty when it does all goes wrong.

Riding fast is all good mate, as long as you don't take out someone else in the process.

How fast are you anyway? Most of the riders I see who claim to be fast ride like pussies. Kopu to Kopu big loop well under 1 hour 30mins minus stop times? Then you're respectable. Under 1 hour? Then you're actually F-A-S-T.

My god Carver ya making sense and I have ta agree with ya.

JSG, are ya going back ta ya old ways? You were very like Skiddie at ya worse. Suggesting a "who-can-go-the-fastest-pissing-match" especial around the Corro, is very stupid indeed.
Don't be so insecure in ya riding ability at ya feel ya have ta prove how fast ya are. A good rider doesn't have to prove him/herself to anyone.
