A cruiser might be an option if you're more about the scenery than breaking the sound barrier

Cheap leather jackets going at PT's, they got a $450 dollar rack, even had 2 alpine stars jackets on there when I saw it but I met a guy at the Dannevirke BP and noticed he had bought one of them.

Yea saw them today bloody tempting eh! ,had the sales guy all over me when i walked in with my raggedy jacket lol .guy was saying they were the last years models or something ,looks the same as the 08 jackets just ha;f the price and a different colour scheme...

    Update...

So went to the local (to take advantage of the 30% off sale) and got talked into Picking up one of these beasts and officially lost my leather jacket virginity ...cost a pretty penny but it really feels like a second skin, absolutely rapt with it . its a Teknic Speedstar jacket pretty high up in their range so i hope it will last me a fair while (as long as i dont decide to go bush again ) does feel a lil hunch back with the small hump on the back but apparently... it makes you more aero-dynamic lol which i jumpt at as the katana doesn't exactly strive in this area so anything to improve this was greatly recieved!

Now im just tossing up the idea of getting leather pants ....ah i duno if its too extreme or not

well thanks to paul Betsy's gear linkage is replaced along with the leaky seal, although the tart did try to lure him astray, but he did resist her many charms.

Apparently the gear linkage was only being held on by the rubber boot .. no wonder it was hard to get into neutral,

anyhow warrent is now done & rego tomorrow & finally we will both be legal for the weekend pootle our first legal ride together

Anyone keen for trip to Sth Naki area, thought could meet at Waverley and cruise to Patea damsite (20km? off main road),and maybe up the mountain, then maybe could russle up a dodgy bbq, beds available for night, plenty of floor space.

    track is full of gravel.
saddle is full of gravel and sheep.

Roads are fair to shit round here right now.
