The thing is mate, most of us do support the intent of the message. It is the delivery and latterly, the arrogance and obnoxiousness of the poster that upsets us.
My concern is, that riders who would do well to heed his message, are also totally and utterly turned off by the delivery that they aren't seeing the message at all...then it is, just like KM, a waste of space and energy....
He doesn't even have the redeeming feature of putting his money where his mouth is...he talks the talk, but we have yet to see him walk (or is that ride?)
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Ooh, look! 5 greens! then another 4 greens and then an infraction.
Seems like my message (tm) is getting through.

Katman "And the instructor thing? I found out how much it costs and the rigmarole associated with becoming certified. Bugger that - it'll be cheaper and less hassle to take the Secret of Invincibility to my grave."

    So why the posts?

Oh and you get another green bling.

Oh and you must be one of the most carefull riders I've met

Even negative attention is better than being ignored.

As this video demonstrates, stolen from another thread. Sorry Mikkel.

I would green bling you again - but I will have to wait! I just hope that the infraction is from your KB stalker so it doesn't count. In that case you're as right as Katman...

Yep, I can attest to that. MSTRS is smooth and careful - I'd ride with him any day of the week... Alas, it takes about 14 hours to ride to Napier from Chch if you sit just above the speed limit.

No worries - I posted it because I thought it was thought provoking. More so than this thread. Good thing you throw it in here where it might get some airtime.
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

Again, very few disagree with the message. There is no excuse for poor riding like that video demonstrates. However, did you realize on Katman's other 'safety' thread, using his trolling style, he has in effect goaded some into timing themselves around the coro loop now. It could well lead to a very similar outcome to that grim video you just posted. The most dangerous thing I've seen around KB of late is Katman himself.

    Gotta agree with that.

Indeed. I think it comes from the fact that he obviously a boring, useless bastard in real life and this is the closest he gets to any interaction.

Its kind of like an slightly simple kid looking for love in all the wrong places. He keeps getting beat up but continues to come back.

    Fuck - I wish he wouldn't.

so planting the seed to do dumb things doesnt work, but planting a seed to do clever things does?
