    Had a great ride today.
2 of us did the Matapiro/Sherenden/Taihape Rd loop, then thru Puketapu/Clive/Havelock, then Kahuraniki rd to Patangata for a cold one.
    About a dozen bikes there.
A lot of resealing between Elsthorpe & Patangata, took it easy but nearly got caught out by loose chip on a few corners and had to stand it up once.
And no signs indicating loose chip!

Might even hit the road on Sunday, missus is away all day, gotta do something.....

Hi Dooly. Back on a bike after many long years without. Even the missus enjoys it on the back. New to this site & trying to hook up with some Hawkes Bay bikers for rides in the weekends (or Whenever) when I/we can make it. If anyones interested let us know. Haven't been up here many years so keen to learn new rides about the place.

If I want your opinion I'll give it to ya

    Gidday.
We all usually try and go for a ride every Saturday but recently everyone seems out of sync due to other activities or whatever, so some of us tend to ride with a few of the group or others. Usually if anyone here is going for a ride they'll post up when, where etc.
Myself, if it looks like no one is going to be at our usual meeting place, I wont bother going over to Napier as I'm 40kms away, so I'll head off my wayish.
But keep an eye here, you'll hook up ok with us I'm sure.

Needed a long ride on Saturday, left early with Johnno, to Patangata via Main Rd & Te Aute Trust Rd, Ypuk up Poronghau Rd then via Blackhead Rd stopped at Pub for pit stop, then Wimbleton via Weber to Dannevirke, HW 50 to home.
Road from Wimbleton to Dannevirke was a blast. Just watch for sheep, cattle & sheepdogs though. 304 Km round trip.
If your ship doen't come in, swim out to it.

Whooo whoooo. Now that’s a ride. Left Bay view at 7am and had near on no traffic till we got to Cambridge. Unbelievable. One cop in Taupo other than that the X 50 was quiet on the way up. It was just premo. Great trip home but the 100 K was hard as I followed Moo in her car. But with a few diversions here and there it turned out well.

Nice to see MSTRS, Tart and Team Cudby coming home as I came back from W’s. Did ya have a good day at the track?

Welcom to K/B Backinthesaddle. What Dooly said is how it is at the moment but we will get back to riding as a group soon. Just look here each day and see what on. Might have to make an effort to get the group out as a group.

    Back in the Gixxer mist.

Oh, is Wasp27 going to tell people what he did yesterday? You rode what W? and did you like it?

It really did look very unloved. Specially as it was next to the R1 that the whole crowd wanted to look at. Gixxer 4 ever

Psssst Truth is if you got on the R1 Rob has you would note the feels like a tank. Bit like going from the H/D to the SV. The modern bikes are that much better. But don’t tell Rob.
