    I'd like to thank Donor...

Over my beginnings as a newbie rider into the feckless and gormless rider I am now, I have to acknowledge a debt of gratitude and recognition towards Donor.

He has helped me in many ways to keep enjoying my passion and pursuit for motorcycling. His selflessness and cheery attitude is always welcoming and makes me feel like one of his whanau ow!

He has gone above and beyond the call of duty, dropping off fuel to stranded bikers, hitched up trailers to pick up desultory steeds, thrown a block of wood and a heavy mallet to solve most mechanical problems and is a general all round good c**t!

His profession as a medical professional has not dimmed his belief that there is an inner goodness to humankind, his black sense of humor and laconic replies reminds me of Spartans of old.

For those who have the privilege to meet this fine stalwart and modest plebian carbuncle on the hide of humanity, you know what I vouchsafe, for those yet to meet him, it will be a pleasant and humorous encounter!

Once again, my dearest acquaintance and boon biking compatriot, I salute your manifest destiny to be riding a cruiser as long as you may, to put up with the scrofulous summations I have made upon your character and above all, to keep being the general all round good c**t you are!

    Your most humble servant (ugh)

*this has not been a paid nor endorsed sponsorship of Donor for any propaganda purpose except to possibly swell his head and walk with chest puffed out ... or more likely, a doh! and a slap to the forehead

Oh stop it... well all right, go on then...

But seriously - it's been a two way street Mr Joe, both with yourself and many other fine bodies I have met through this fine web site.

Many is the time I have asked seemingly stupid questions, and again many is the time I have had unasked questions answered. Sometimes with a tad of mock and sarcasm, but typically with the good nature and camaraderie that the biking fambily is internally renowned for.

From diagnosing dodgy spark plus, to dicky brake switches as well as learning the finer points of counter steering and the importance of ATGATT (Thanks Uncle McJim for your kind harsh words!).

Of course, the finest lesson I have learned has come from the illustrious gijoe131 himself - Pay It Forward

It works, and the karma generated is more satisfying than ... other stuff that is satisfying!

Donor: So ya glad you're a Biker?

    Minnie: F**k yeah!

Just waiting for the threads to merge into one big thank you one! I think we need a special wave to thank people on bikes for being on a bike!

I'd like to thank donor as well. He fished my sorry ass and my broken bike of the shrubs when I fell off at Port Waikato.

I'd like to thank Donor too.

With his bald head and excess facial hair, I never feel completely alone in being shunned by civilised society.

great pic!! I've only been out to Port Waikato on the back of a friends RF900 and at the speeds he took those bends it kinda put me off riding the road myself! One day I'll be brave enough to go for a blat out there but it'll be nana styles for me I think, and hopefully avoiding the shrubbery which attacks the unsuspecting motorcyclist.

I think thats a combo deal of shrubbery lying at the bottom of an ambushing bank leading to a stealth attack by rocks!

If'n you want to ride the Port of Waikato, drop me a line and any excuse for a ride I say! RipperRoo can come along too!
