But when we do a big grocery shop and get a coupon for 20 cents per litre discount, we go to Pak'n'Save petrol.
Pak'n'Save = supplied by BP at least that's what's written on the pumps in Lower Hutt.

thats why you read the signs first.

if it says prepay, flip the bird, lay some rubber and ride on hoping to find another station before you run out of gas as i almost did last week.

I use whatever is nearest when I run onto reserve, and whatever doesn't shag me around with prepay crap. Other than that, I don't really care.
I feel sorry for your bikes Les, thats like giving your cat Jellimeat when you know it prefers Fancy Feast. Here's a senario....you leave home on your bike and you need gas, there are four gas station fairly close to you, which one do you use?.......you must must use one, even if the preference is....its closest!

Yes, exactly the same approach as myself. Visor up and wallet out.

    I prefer to use Shell.

The reason being is they sell 95. If I go to either the Mobil or BP, their only choices are either 91 or 98 and I dont want to use either of those nasty concoctions, as they make my bike run like pants.

BP 98 - I hate using anything else in the bike or any of the cars.

Seems there are quite a few that prefer a particular Station for the Petrol alone, not just because one is closer to home. A real difference of opinions on what is going into your bike....thank you for adding the reasons...interesting.

I like BP because of the colour.

I actually think I'm being serious here.

(and it's not american, and i have a "feeling" that my bike & car likes it better.)

When heading off for a ride I have choice of BP or Mobil.

Choose Mobil purely because its eftpos at pump and in the mornings last thing I feel like is being nice and polite to some pimple faced teen chewing gum standing behind the station counter........
