I've managed to pick almost everything up second hand, at extremely reasonable prices
R-Jays helmet - obviously bought new, but at a bargainous price
Second hand no brand leather jacket .. but it fits like a glove and I'm completely in love with it.
Dririder gloves - bought these brand new at a steal, amazingly comfy winter gloves
Free leather glovesnever gonna complain about free stuff, just needed mending a touch but they're a really good fit. Should be awesome come summer time.
Frank Thomas boots - man these are awesome! Got them on Trademe. Thickest leather I've ever seen with super warm fleece lining and a reinforced toe. Alex is jealous
When I get more money (and when pigs fly) I'll be investing in some Quasi stuff I'm sure - thats if him indoors has anything to say about it.
There are 10 types of people in the world .. those who can read binary and those who can't.
AGV Helmet, bought new from Holeshot as a Xmas gift to me by 007XY
Cordura jacket and pants are Dri Riders bought on sale a couple of years ago. They have been waterproof up until now, and I do a lot of riding long distance, often in the rain. Will treat them with some Nikwax before the Cold Duck and they'll be back to normal
Boots are Gaerne's, bought about 5 years ago...still waterproof, and damn comfortable even to walk in now.
Gloves are needing to be rerplaced. Can't recall the brand, and the sticker no longer shows the name anyway they're that old. I'm struggling to find a good winter glove with proper armour bits, but that won't cost the earth.
Have just been given an awesome leather jacket, with in built armour which I am so in love with...trouble is, the weather is no longer really suitable for it and so will have to wait for summer again
As soon as I can afford it, I'll be buying that suit Quasi has been taunting me with for ages now![]()

I have just purchased new gear for my wife she found it hard to get gear fitting properly but settled on a womens jacket from Macna and pants from Rev-It and she found them comfortable from the first ride. Boyd Motorcycles in Hamilton usually has a good range of womens gear.
I'm in the process of getting some gear for my wife since she's now got a bike which will be going one day.
She wants a jacket which is fitted but not colours like pink and baby blue. Stuff like black and grey and red. darker blue would be ok though, or maybe yellow.
Two Stroke, the pinnacle of engine design
I have a Strada jacket, and borrow a Shoei helmet when I need it...
Going to get Strada pants asap... I like to match![]()
