Yay for WWH being open on rainy Sundays to pick my sorry arse up off the road!

Those clubman bars look seriously masochistic for anything other than café racing! And one would be racing, as minimum transit time between cafés would be optimal. (therefore minimum wrist and neck suffering) .

(This is probably my old-man wrists talking and making me jealous of suffering I couldn't take - I'm sure they'd look great)

I saw old honda CB350???(not sure) parked at near HSB building parking today. (Any clue MGST?) and thought straight handle bars doesnt look bad either

Btw I wanna do oil change sometime soon, where can I get Honda G1 or G2 oil? Heard it's good and reasonably priced.

But havne't found gasket yet, should I do oil change after gasket done?

    Save some cash Banzai!

I can get you some 5100 Motul 10W40 (this is the good stuff) engine oil at about around $13 bucks a litre as I know this dude in Panmure has it in bulk.

Possibly cheaper but you gotta give me a cotainer, preferably a petrol cannister with a bendy spout.

Just use some Motul oil should do the job perfectly well. Make sure it is 4 stroke oil when you are buying. I think you only need like 2 litres oil right? Ask Squiggles.

It needs 1.5L with oil filter.

From my research it needs above SG, 10w-40 or 10w-30 or 5w-50. Yea Motul 5100 is one of the reccomended.

I ride like nana anyway, probly wont do any Moto-GPing for next 6month or more lol

I got classes tomorrow so I can't go with you.

I need tool-kit for GN coz this didnt come with one(previous owner dropped it somewhere lol)

What do I need for basic kit? Also how often do you guys check the tyre pressure? Should I get prressure meter?

One more thing, FULL GASKET for GN250 on trademe $75. Good or Bad?

Yeah Motul 5100 pretty much suits any bike.....I think what Ehab trying to say that new tyres tend to be slippery so caution when riding for the first 100km...

Toolkit...can let u see what i have in mine for an idea....dont bother about pressure meter just go to the petrol pump and pump air into the tyres...they should say in there for a month without issue..

Yea I know, lady in Cycletreds told me "gotta ride it like nana for first 100km-150km".

    Cool, coming to chiller??
Petrol station is very nearby so I dont think tyre will warm up that quickly to alter the measurements...

if it's just the top gaskets you could get away with an oil change now and top-up after the gaskets....

but for money and simplicity's sake do the oil after the gasket

spark plug socket, screw driver (flat and posi), spanners and allen keys to fit your bike and pliers. basically the stuff needed to adjust levers as needed and fiddle with carby/sparky/air filter if she stops running for whatever reason. a roll of electrical tape and some cable-ties never hurts either.

don't overdo it, there's not much use in carrying many tools unless you know how to use them, and then when you do need to use them murphy's law dictates it's not a job that can be done on the side of the road and/or you're missing just the one tool that you need to do it

i check tyre pressure whenever i fill up at the station before a ride, so monthly at the worst.... every now and then i'll give her a squeeze just to be sure

ask stephen about gaskets, didn't he offer you one for $20?
