For what its worth, that sucks heaps mate.

And as for dyno readings if you've got some spare time it's a pretty complex issue: http://www.factorypro.com/dyno/true1.html

My gsxr750 was purchased running on 3 (hell felt quick coming off a 150cc ) $500 smackers for a whole new set of guides and seals and a bit of work fixing my leaking exhaust valve and I ride it a week before a friend hydrolocks first cylinder on a ride and bends the conrod..

Oh yeah, in reality when the bike was run on 3 compression for cyl.1 was ~115psi with the rest 150. There was a shit show in hell that bike made anywhere near 80rwhp (old 1st gen 750), it was barely able to outpace a zxr250. I can't see those compression test readings being correct at all. At 115psi the first cyl would run sometimes and not others, if you had a whole bike like that you'd be lucky to move if that logic stands.

Anywho, open the wallet and prepare to get bent over man, i'm used to it.

Oh yeah, you might find it interesting to note that the above link has these results.

zx10,07 all stock, stock exhaust all stock 142-146 True HP (144, 2 samples)
zx10,07 with Factory Pro V stack, no FI tuning, stock exhaust all stock 147-151 True HP (149)
zx10,07 with Factory Pro V stack, BMC air filter no FI tuning, stock exhaust all stock 149-153 True HP (151)

Sorta what we talked about at racing brian but its sorta a bit late now sounds like the engines out! you should chuck it on a dynajet dyno to see how it compares to shauns results because factory pro and dynajet have quite diff readings.

btw I too am all for the fun of racing and do whatever i can to be there bla bla but when you have a bike thats below par and you have to make excuses it sucks, i had a comment on one of my old race reports saying something about all the excuses i was making about my old bike with how slow it was off the start! Glad my new bikes proven my point! So id say na dont race half arsed bro

huh...Brain...is that 160hp on a factory pro dyno??? because if it is...160 factory pro HP...is fuck loads!! considering robbie bugdons 07 bike made 168hp on a factory pro dyno in auck...and over 200hp on a dynojet down south!!

You're so full of shit mate, who the fuck told you that?

My wimpy base model cams and head gasket with the EMPRO make more than 168 on the Factory Pro. And let me assure you, Mister Bugdens bike is a good deal faster than mine.

    Serious question here.
Why do people seem to believe the Factory Pro hype blindly?
Do they not find it suspicious that the blurb they publish, just happens to support their product?
They claim 128 True HP for and 06 Fazer with only Graves Stacks. How does this materially differ from me getting 128 bullshit Dynojet HP on a stock bike?
The stacks alone would be lucky to add 3 HP (bullshit or true - you choose) on these things as the biggest restrictions are air box and teeny tiny air filter. That plus the only difference with the graves stacks and standard are shorter outers.

By the way the dyno runs I had ranged between 4 peak HP

The compression test sounds a little on the low side but it depends how it was measured, the only way to really know if the cylinder has a leak is to do a differential leak down test and also you will hear hissing in the crank case by taking off the oil cap or at the mufflers for ex valves - that would be the first step.
I dont know how you can 'look' at the cam timing they are on adjustable slots on the cam gears and take quite a bit to measure.
The last meeting I did was at Paeroa and it ran fine, I would not knowingly sell a bike with a problem - I also emailed you to see how it was going - no reply..
Not to mention I delivered that bike to Auckland under strange purchasing circumstances and gave you tyre warmers for free!!!!!!

I suggest in future you talk to someone you have concerns with first before questioning someones integrity
Very very well spoken mate, i'm on your side on this, he has not handled it well.

Archer i feel for ya man, but perhaps before ripping into technic on here you should have discussed it with him.

Sounds like a stand up guy to me.

Take from this what you wish Archer, but from how i see it if you had gone to him regarding these issues prior to posting, it sounds like he would have been willing to offer advice etc, im suprised he has told you as much as he has just now, mostly in a way that does not rip into you, but partially yes as you deserve it. with the way you have handled it i would have just told you to bugger off... and thats being polite.

You fucken hollier than thou cockhead. You know none of the details behind this and hardly the people involved. You're also the first person on this whole site waving your arms around going "Woe is me, the world's against me" with little reason. Hypocracy is simply the ugliest trait someone could have, there no mirrors at yours?

For the record, they're both stand-up guys. Brian's fucked off because his bike's not what he expected, Shaun's defending his actions as he doesn't feel he's misrepresented anything. No harm, no foul. In case you're not too good at reading, I'll point out that there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of animosity right here, keep your uninformed oar out thanks.

And as for you telling someone to bugger off? You're implying someone would actually have bought a bike off you and not had a problem with it?

Back on the ignore list for you Skidboy.

I don't nessecarily believe the hype as such, I just use the Factory Pro as a good reference as that's the only dynamometer the WBP bike's ever been on. As with all dynos, the numbers are irrelevant unless tested on the same dyno.

    A tuning tool, nothing more.

Perhaps you should unplug your keyboard and just read for a while. Learn how people interact, how they type different in anger than mild manner.

Then, when you've got a clue, fuck off and try making friends on some other site.

Ok a reread - If all ya worried about is 10 odd ponies then I'll stick to my origonal point HTFU
But if you are worried about a potential big bang inside ya engine then FUCKEN GOOD CALL.
I think ya origonal post suggested more you were worried about being beaten because ya had less hp.
