But James McGregor can predict the weather... That's why I use www.metvuw.co.nz

What about the moon man, Ken Ring?

After a google, I didn't realise that you had to pay $45 for his forecasts further out than 3 days

He is predicting nice weather for the next three days (for free)

Never found him accurate enough. Metvuw does get it wrong but usually only in timing, not what happens. I'm hoping the timing is out at the moment... And you get 7 days for free.

The problem with metvuw (especially in chch) is that it doesn't account for geographical effects on the weather movement. E.g. the southern alps somewhat block the weather if it is coming from the west. But in this case its a southerly front so ya better bring ya beanies!!

I find this site much better http://www.metservice.co.nz/default/...ainfcst_3daynz

I thought my go to the pub plan was better.

Problem is on the 100 I'd have to change the tyres there & I'm getting increasingly lazy, I'd almost rather fall off than have to change the tyres these days. Besides you should see my wets, oh hold on a minute
Don't you look at my accountant.

Yeah I'm of the same opinion. I can change the wets on the rs in 2 mins flat. But the CB takes at least 20 mins. Not worth the hassle. Will just power slide around the track like Ivan always does...

Poofters (next you'll be riding a FXR), what do you need wets for, slicks are awesome in the wet

If you see any lumps in the warmers, that'll be my gloves.

Well I have everything I need to build my engine and put it in the bike now, so all I need to do now is do a dry assembly with plastercene to check all valve to piston to head clearances to ensure there will be no hand grenade action like last year, pull it down again to remove all plastercene, build it up again, wack it in the bike, tune it, test NOS front slick, and she'll be away laughing for saturday!

we were talking about bringing it forward if it does look like it will pour down, maybe start about 1pm instead of the planned 2.30ish.
