    Mini cams

    I went compact today.

Used a new micro camera slightly bigger than a box of matches and a combo still and vidcam that is about the size of a deck of cards.

Carried the equipment to record these in my pocket. Only thing extra needed was a roll of tape.

Some of the focus is a bit ordinary - I know the parameters for next time - but man,

    Now that's a pit bike.

Hey Dave, I tried a TX1 a few times and I couldn't stop the thing from shaking - I used a Ram stem mount and a conventional tank mount but it was to no avail. I think its tall design works against stability as much of the mass is carried high on the camera. Pity, certainly the quality was stunning when it stopped shaking (ie when I turned the bike off)
So, my Archos 405 DVR arrives this week along with their action bullet cam.

Did you go with the whole setup or use it on an existing digital camera?

    Good looking system.
Movie makers not that hard, but it takes time to get it right. I use it at school with the kids (I teach year 5; 9-10 year olds) so most adults can eventually get it. It only took me about a year!
Ask one of your kids, or a neighbours, it's a lot faster than figuring it out yerself...

So how do you get on with the charging? Does it all arrive with US electrical set ups?
