    Toaster's "Project Evil" is underway

Given that bmz and I have adopted the nicknmae "evil twins" we named the fix up/rebuild project as Project Evil.

It's brought to you by Toaster (CEO and billpayer), Bmz (Director mechanical) and Buelldene (Painter extraodinaire!)

I decided to use my misfortune and turn it into a fun event were I can make the bike more personal.

    The work is as follows:

    New slip-on straight through exhausts
    By-pass the set-cam

New Engine Guards -nice and shiny!
New Indicator assembly and coloured indicator bulbs with clear/smoked covers
    New necklace for headlight

New tyres - wider front Metz ME 880 "160" and wider rear Metz ME 880 "260" which will lower rear another inch.

    JSD kit
    Holley big air intakes

    Kurakyn pegs

    smooth shifter kit

Straighted and buffed rear brake peg

    Buffed clutch and brake levers
Replaced mirros back to my standard set for better visibility

Black and grey "Toaster" plate to fit above licence plate

    Painted black tank and debadged
    Painted black headlight cover
Aibrush painted with ghost flames front wheel fender
Painted black front and back rims with original alloy grey left around edge
Painted black left side rear wheel hub
Airbrush painted ghost "sheep with red X" on front left radiator cover

Lettering on tyres painted white (I am importing 10 of these these pens if you wish to purchase)

New gear to be purchased but includes an Akuma "Stealth Helmet" already ordered. I'll order a voltage transformer to charge the LED's in the helmet.

soooo... mmmmm I take it that your feeling better Toaster. Good on you and I applaud your desire to reasurect the scoot. A revamp like this is surely worth a thousand pics (at various stages of resurrection of course). Good to see your back and I hope the body is responding.

    Jesus Christ, dude.

Edit: This is all about being threatened by the rear tyre on Finn's Night Rod, isn't it? Sooner or later both of you are going to need some form of actual crane to get those bikes around corners.

I just did the same. It works really well visually.

Want to join me on a Saturday night mission sometime to find a custom Harley or Ducati in need of some leftover 'S' tank decals?

    Er...

Hehe very good mate.... yeah with the flatter profile 260 it may even stand up on its own!

Yeah not sure about the LEDs either.... what I really needed was a weapon to take out any future attacks from our woolly friends.

This thread is useless without pics?

    Show us your sheep!
Arguing with an Engineer is like wrestling a pig in mud.

After a while you realise the pig is enjoying it.

    Excellent stuff.

In the meantime, here's some revenge against the sheep courtesy of some old friends from Palmerston North.

And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.
