Actually it's two hours I just realised, so I may try and work out a direct (fast) route to get to some place before you lot. Nothing like clearing that post-exam brain-feck with a good punt.

Funny, last night I dreamed I'd bought an early CB750F1 Supersport. The electrics were fucked though Clearly, my subconscious is enthusiastic about this haha.

Heh!.. Then best you start looking for that proper bike so you can get to work restoring it to its former glory and have it ready for when you leave the little pond

Hey Psyguy, I see you have a picture of your bike on the bottom of your posts. Does this mean the powder coated wheels are back on?

that pic is an old one, but yeah, the wheels are back on as are the re-furbished forks and a few new shiny bolts
all road tested and so far so good

    Quick work, very impressive.

By the way, might need a hand before the ride on 28th with my back wheel as I think it is a bit out of alignment. Would be good to get another set of eyes to check. Very technical here .

Bad luck.... We will no doubt have more ride days in the near future.

Weather forecast isn't looking good for tomorrow... Rain and wind all day from the look of it

    i know...
if it gets really bad we may need to shorten the ride and head to the pub sooner
    not a bad option though

As I'm sure you've figured out, the weather wasn't on my side today to make the ride up. Hopefully next time.

    thats still the plan

but as mentioned, i will have to make the final decision in the morning so look for the updates to the calendar

it's a tough call though, given the crazy akl weather - was pouring this morning and even had a few thunder-hail-storms, then cleared up to the point where the roads were DRY and the sun came out, and then it started all over again

Have fun lads! Just about to set off for last exam, weather doesn't look too bad. Bit nippy though.

Enjoy yourselves and hope the electrics hold out if it gets wet! Nothing sadder-sounding than a CB750 running on two cylinders
