My bike gets washed regularly - every couple of months when it's in for a 6,000km service at Holeshot.

If you pledge your bike, does that mean that you promise to buy it, like Telethon used to do ?

CT 18 from SuperCheap is really good stuff. Just follow the directions. I tend to over concentrate it but it does no harm. All you need is a spray bottle, garden hose, and a couple of hours to go and do something else (like try and wash the slime off your hands) while it does its thing.

It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

My bike is a workhorse, not a show pony so it's not washed these days.
I found out long ago that washing a bike is a sure way to guarantee rain.

That being said, it's in at TSS today for it's 24000km service, so I expect it will be cleaned at lest a little during the process..
I finally got my knee down! …and my shoulder …and my pillion’s head.

So assuming that this thread is about washing your bike, I wash mine the same way I was my car but with a little more attention to detail. I use all the same cleaning products.

If the chain needs cleaning I clean it then wash the bike and once all is finished and dry I lube the chain. I'm still trying different metal/aluminium polishes to find the one I like the most, I'll let you know how that goes.
