Had one of those horrible bad riding days today. Went out to westgate but decided not to go on the planned ride with mates due to weather, plans and that really bad gut feeling, the one where you just know something bad is going to happen.
Nothing gelled, gear changes were clunky, throttle control was bad, I was constantly on edge etc. Went through this little roundabout, ridiculously tight and had to slow the bike down to nearly a stop, ride through slowly and then pull over to calm the brain.
Worst mooment was going through the domain and one one of the tight 35's *i was going at 35* almost losing the front. The bike was feeling odd and I couldn't get lines right and constantly thought the rear was sliding. I went through this corner slowly and the front just went sliding. I almost shat myself. I used my boot and body to kick hold the bike up *ala supermoto* at it righted itself *to my fucking amazement*.
The bikes in the shed now, I still have that bad feeling. Nervous about getting on tomorrow now haha. I know my clipons make my bike sensitive to road bumps etc as the steering has been altered but jeez the bike felt like it was gonna slide out on every corner.
I 've never had a day like this and I hate it.
