How much public attention do you get?

A friend on KB "Babyblade250RR" (Hmm havn't seen him for a while... where you at?) who rides an R6 once told me that he recieves alot of public attention when he is with his bike...

Me: "So whats it like riding an R6? It's a good looking bike isn't it?"
BB250RR: "*snip*...the bad thing is that you get alot of public attention..."

*Someone walks by saying to him "Nice bike!"*

    Me: "Alot?"
    BB250RR: "ALOT!"

So is it true? Tell us your story.

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

Yeah, the whole reason I ride a motorcycle is to get girls to notice me.

    But I ride a 250.

When I borrowed the Hyo GT250R, I got some people saying "Nice bike! how much is it?" Things like that...

Oh yeah I remember, Hyosung DID got some attention...
Probably the best "Chick magnet" 250? hahaha...

If im out by myself the bike gets a lot of attention, bloody hard to miss it, the noise it makes is intoxicating, but if im out with a certain mate who has a brand new Moto Morini Casarro then they walk right by my bike & ogle his.....

Ill miss being mates with him lol
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

Guy at the local subway asked me to take my helmet off. Apparently they find me 'intimidating'

My bike gets a fair amount of attention, especially due to how it sounds...I haven't yet seen another VTR250 with the custom twin pipes system I have. It also makes her look more like a Baby Ducati than a Honda.

The other day I was gearing up again after perving into Holeshot at a Street Triple, when an older couple walked past, and the gentleman nodded appreciatively at my bike, and said "Niiiiice!!" ...His wife didn't appear that impressed, but eh, their problem, not mine!

Good thing you haven't got your avatar plastered to your bike then

Personally I hate attention and I tend to not note when I attract it. But I've been told that the 'tard draws a few looks here and there...

Seen a guy here in Tauranga with a baby VTR with twin pipes, I don't think they were carbon though.

Did he go "Niiiiice bike" or "Niiiiice!"

Me, i tend to get a lot more of the "WTF is that thing?".

In the last few weeks my Ducati has been sitting in the offices at work here.

I get alot of attention on my bike as it is loud - and I love it when people hear me coming down the road and turn to see and then follow...I get to feel cool! (shut up don't ruin my delusion)

Do get more attention when I get off it and people realise I'm a chick... It's NOT THAT exciting SURELY!!! Girls have been riding for ages and there seem to be so many of us out there now.

Actually it makes me a rather self conscious...as a Murphy's Law believer I know it is moments when people are watching that I have to concentrate really hard and think to myself 'just don't do anything embarrassing and drop the bike'!!!

Yeah, the noise of the 'tard is good in a way... Unless I'm coming home to an empty house the garage is usually open by the time I've made it down the driveway.

Middle-aged, middle-sized bloke wearing a black riding suit and a high-vis vest, riding a Scorpio: how much attention do you think I get?

Actually, when I've been parked one or two people have said how shiny and new the bike looks. But no-one has said anything nice about me.
