You could just take the stand off and just slide on the foot board like wasp27 does. Im sure he could give you a few tips.
Tis a Yamahahahaha G. Just thrash it like you stole it. Gixxer 4 ever
It really did look very unloved. Specially as it was next to the R1 that the whole crowd wanted to look at. Gixxer 4 ever

And for those frosty mornings you need heated grips. Ive got the wrap around ones. Had them for a while now. Got them cheap on trademe.

Yea i've had a look at the bike shops, fivestar have them, but the pricing on them would have been acceptable when they were a 'new' thing ie five years ago or something. definatly keen to get some at somestage. did you wire them to the batttery or the 12V acccessory?

Live wire straight after the ignition. Just in case i forget to turn them off, turning the key off will do it instead.

Just met FridayFlash - he may be able to help in that regard.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Or talk the local dealer into letting you borrow the 'licence bike'

If this is the twin, cruiser-style then be careful. These bikes have some sort of built-in Honda weakness (I can't remember for sure what it is, but think it is to do with the ignition system). Do some homework before you make any decisions.
    If it's the inline 4, have a look here... http://www.myhonda650.com ... at 44hp it's very under-powered for the cc

I think I can post here again. Been so long since I put the bike in gear and rode it just cos I can. Been a few rides for work and the fund raiser and funeral but other than that it has sat in the shed and tormented me. So today I patted the old Mooo on the arse and sat her on the back and we blasted out the gate and ended up at the summit on the Taupo road. Whooo whoooo so nice to be free and have the wind under our wings. I did see a group of 3 bikes as we went North in the first passing lane, was it you MSTRS? Roll on summer. It was strange to ride on dry clean roads.

Meet a nice couple at the shop. He lived on the Isle Of Man for a while and had bikes in the past. But his partner was intent on showing us her ink. Nice Tatts indeed. They would never had spoken to us if it wasn’t for the bike. Gotta love bikes. So I am ready for the new working week. Bring it on.

Note to self.... Must ride more cos I can

Not I - gsxr has sat in the shed for a couple of weeks now. Thought about a pootle today, but wasn't sure where to go that would be clear of any effects from last weeks heavy rain etc. Glad you blew your cobwebs out, Steve.
