Illness aside (and yes, there are cases where people can't stop eating, I know about that), I don't care if it brings you down that you're twenty sizes too big if all that's getting between your fat ass and a drop in waist size is your inability to exercise...

It's not about fat/thin/ugly/beautiful/warty arse etc, for me it's about people judging others for how they look and not for the kind of person they are.
It's very sad that you're obviously a bit bitter about being abused publicly by a large person, but does making fun of people you don't know purely because of how they look really make you any better than the people who said something nasty to you?

And I have been told off at New World for not being "sensitive to, handicapped" ???? people. This was by a woman who was just as large, who had already eaten half a kingsize block of chocolate BEFORE she got TO the checkout counter. This was all because I had to pee and wouldn't let her push in in front of me
And those that pose on a motorcycle with high heels, usually have no intention of riding, and don't always, actually ride. I have photos of friends on my bike,with all the gear on... but have never ridden a bike. Don't assume they have...

I got picked on in school for my size, I even got called anorexic while I was feeding my face with pringles. I was caught completely off guard and didn't know what to say to the idiot.

I had three people come up to me and my fiance in a department store and tell me how I disgusted them for being so skinny. They swore that I was anorexic and they had a go at me for not eating. I have had friends parents have a go at me for being anorexic until they saw how much I ate.

But the worst one ever was showing some visitors round the European Parliament and one of the bitches having a go at me for being so skinny and not eating etc etc. If I had known at the time that she was not a constituent of the Member of the Parliament and had not been as professional as I was I would have told the rude, fat cow exactly what I thought of her!!

Sadly I am not the only one of my friends to have developed body issues as a result of the abuse received from fat people. Maybe fat people in NZ are just less vocal than those in the UK.

In the big bad adult world there are a lot of people who will come and insult others and try to put them down physically, socially or professionally. Regardless of whether the person they target is at fault or not, it's just how it is.

As long as one has enough self-esteem to know who they are as a person who cares what people have to say? Fuck em all.
