Yea didn’t fell to bad when I left the car park but when I got back home the body was certainly sore and still is.

That riding down there is just great so you have to make the most of it.

Had a great weekend down there, havn,t riden my quad since dessert dust storm, did the small loop first on sat & had a blast, then decided to do big loop, had a lot of fun ,watching Steve crashing on the slippery tree roots,Had tyre changing duties for Pauls Ktm had a cheap chinese tyre that couln,t hack the pace, thanks to Darbi,s for having a spare on hand.was feeling a wee bit stuffed after that so off too hot pools,Sunday nice & fine, decided to throw kids in deep end, said we would do 45 k middle loop, the longest loop they had ever done was 10 k,I would like to say thanks to all the two wheel guys that waved or gave the thumbs up we tryed not to hold yo up too much,My girl riding a Polaris 90 quad had a blast,my boy on a borrowed Klx110 only fell off twice for the loop,so they are hooked now,Epic certainly put on a good event.
Tryed to find Booom, must of been blind, saw the guys with the couch was parked not too far away from them.

Just to kick in my 2c worth on this ride...

We did the 50Km loop twice and the other loops once on Saturday and did the "Middle Track" on Sunday.

They were all fantastically prepared tracks that were well signposted and encouraged lots of smooth, "feet-on-the-pegs" riding with some amazing berms to power off as the day wore on.

The Epic guys should be congratulated for putting on such a well organised event. They have really raised the bar.

    Hi ya,

Just getting some alarm quotes at present. Then in garage setting up prepared hair triggered shotgun and rottweiller so god help anybody if they ever get past the 240v wired up door handle and chained down bikes.!!! I'll get the bastards next time.!

Looking at getting some bikes now. Big decisions. Lots of looking on trade me and phoning around. Can't decide now if i want a motarded dirt bike, so road and trail like a ktm 525 or wr450f or go out and out like a 300exc with electric start or cheap rmz or kwaka. Not keen on the smokers or motocrossers so much, too much ooomph too quickly ha...ha...!
Girls definetly need electric and kick start as one or other always gives up........ DRZ 250s? a 85 smoker for the lad and a quad or small xr or klx 140 for the youngets girl. Anyway..... will be bloody expensive i'm sure.

You only need two tools in life - WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
And now a third thing a bloody big gun to shoot theives with!

Saw the couches by the fence - looked comfy as!
Also saw a little scooter with mig welder castors on the back which cracked me up! If I spot the couches again I'll come say hello ok.Bring a TV next time as well lol.

I saw Gtae and Telliman out Ardmore a couple of weeks ago. Havn't seen GR8 or Gtae post fror a while though!

You sure you want to go big (525), for your bike. Not sure if the road/MX/trail dual thing would ever work properly. You'd certainly not get through some of the MR moto rides if its wet with a road based tyre on and I couldn't be bothered changing them all the time? I looked at Danger and how he goes etc. And went smaller frame with the 200cc hp. Very pleased so far with the exc. I'd pick the smaller bike over the 300 at my level. Secondly we have just sold the KX85, the little MX based, light switch, was not the type of bike for my youngest. To much oooomph to quickly as you put it. I'm looking at getting a KLX140 or Crf150 for him and my daughter to ride.
Anyway just my 2c you know your kids best. I'll try and get you out on the 200exc one day so you can test it out.
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '
