Whenever I get the urge to exercise I lie down until it goes away.
But seriously....pole dancing???? I hear it's good for the upper body and core muscles. Not that I actually know from experience though.
It's easy enough to do little stretches, bouncing on the saddle, small neck tilts etc while you're riding. Probably the mental fitness is more of an issues for some people!
Oh yeah, and I agree with bikerchik about house work, gardening, walking the dog (although that particular job usually falls to Balu....)![]()
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"
Bowls can wait !
Another spit coffee at the puta moment.
I studied Physical training for many years and I've gotta say, PBs advice is bang on the money, just lie down, the urge will pass given enough time. If not try some anti exercise gums or patches.
Don't give in to this irrational desire to be sweaty, it's not a good look.![]()
Oh bugger
Housework is good exercise - if you don't have enough to do I could let you clean around my place and I wouldn't even charge you for the workout.
Best place to stay in Hawkes Bay here
Nearly all men can stand adversity and hard time, but if you want to test a mans true character, give him power....

Nice to hear from you Blacksheep. Been quiet in the wings I see.
I started this thread because there was nothing on the topic. It's produced some very interesting and enlightening suggestions. Nice to have people sharing honestly about something that affects them.
Tai chi in the park tomorrow I think then a bit more stunt riding. I'm still trying to perfect my somersaults and landings.

Nothing more irritating than the born-again [whatever].
Whether it's jogger, pushbiker, nonsmoker, dieter, whatever. Nothing more annoying.
Particularly when this new-found zeal is actually an imposition rather than free will.
Personally, I think (and have found so far to be true) that the best training for motorcycling is more motorcycling.
100%?? Bloody hell, that would be only the second time EVER! edit: OMG and you're a cruiser rider and I'm a sportbike rider! Are we getting soft ?
My back, neck, knees, and wrists have been in the best shape ever since I assumed the sport-bike position. Just wanna get from 91KG down to 83-85KG.
Shit yeah, just ride the bugger, and ride it lots. Can't do a head check? Try harder - ignore the crunching noises. Can't look up in corners? Yes you can - put some beef into it - those vertebrae will loosen up soon.

"I am a licenced motorcycle instructor, I agree with dangerousbastard, no point in repeating what he said."
"read what Steve says. He's right."
"What Steve said pretty much summed it up."
"I did axactly as you said and it worked...!!"
"Wow, Great advise there DB."
