Hang in there Warren. Take all the drugs that the orderly's smuggle to you. Suck down hard on the giggle juice, and I'll see you when your more comfortable.
(F**k dude, when you lay a bike down, you do it in a spectacular way)

    Any more details?????????
i dont think im allowed to say too much...
i initially thought it was alot more serious, and i was alone unable to call for help.
the bike was followed by a trail of fire while sliding down the road, i will never forget that.

To kill some speculation all I can say is we won’t really know what happened until Warrens memory fills in some gaps. All the poor guy can remember is his back wheel slipping gripping and slipping and gripping, he was thinking he needed to stop and check his rear tyre.
    Going by the marks on the road, Terminal and I can only make some observations such as;
Nothing about the corner indicates it’s a contributor to the accident; it’s an easy sweeper.
The white lines were thin, dry and presented no real issue

There’s a shit load of tyre stuck to a cats eye then the black skid marks start – then the marks where it high sided
The bike obviously skidded along, gauging a line along the tar – coming to rest on the side of the road followed by a flame, then burnt.

    Poor bugger

As they say - its all fun until someone loses an eye.
Poor bugger was probably a good safe rider and taking no chances and it still went pear-shaped.

But the old story holds true - "lie down with dogs and you'll get up with fleas"

(Not saying you have fleas Carver but you get my drift re the M.F.)

Get well Warr and don't let this experience put you off riding, hope the healing is not too painful.......

This question about accidents has been discussed many times before. Basically, the people that need to know, ie family etc will be told. Anyone not told directly by those close to the person don't need to know. Often it isn't appreciated by family members. So on this particular issue it is ALWAYS best to err on the side of caution because anything else can lead to incredibly inappropriate speculation.

You noticed that my first concern was for Warren's health, as posted below? NOT taking the piss, but seriously concerned for a fellow rider of a decent type of bike.

    thats right, read it again.
Warren is obviously having a giggle with "te few" as well. Poking the borax over the marketing department of "te few" is always in jest (especially with "aproximately 65kmh speeds" being dangerous... we have all seen their video's!).
    Teflon, my apologies to you.
Warren, once again, heal fast buddy!

I've seen him again tonight ...

he called me !?!?!?!? .. and asked for visit.

he's booked in to see the sharp pointy end of a scalpal tomorrow

when the morphein machine starts pumping the conversation can get very entertaining to say the least

It was good to see him in high spirits tho' .. happy his mate rossi (err .. nevermind .. don't want to post a spoiler) .. .sad his mate jono (kickingzebra) had a "thing" today.

I passed on thoughts from mountlocal1, eman, switch, and others that have asked me to, and he was full of bad jokes about people offering parts for repairs, and comments on his ability to ride
