Funny you say that. It's exactly why I picked the CBR over the other 600's. Next to the R6 the power is so much more usable on the road yet it's 99.5% as sharp handling.
Interesting that the CBR has more torque (66NM @ 11,250RPM) than the 675 (64NM @ 10,400RPM). It also has more horsepower. About 10-15 more ponies.
Of course the torque curve will be different but one thing people often forget is how much more torquey (and light) Honda made the 600RR from '07 up.
That said I haven't ridden both back to back. Think I might have to take a 675 out to compare the numbers against how it feels.
