    Big arse vs small pants

    Hi Fellow ladies,

Please help me! I am sick of going and trying on ladies pants that don't fit over my bum! I am of a normal clothes size 16 and seem to only come across pants that are european and can't even get into an XXL pair. I would say, and I am sure my husband agrees, in proportion so I don't have one small area and one big area. I have tried guys pants on too but my jacket doesn't have a zip at the back to attach to pants and they gape something chronic at the back of the waist - put it this way, I wouldn't want anyone following behind me!

I am hoping someone out there can help me as the other thing is I don't want to spend a fortune.

I am currently wearing snowboarding pants but even they don't keep me dry and they don't exactly have protection in them either.

    HELP!!

    Thanks

I'm a similar size and have found the neo mugello womens gear a great fit, they only cost $200, have liners and armour, i have worn them in the wet and stayed comfy and dry. the other bonus is they are really high waisted so no issues with builders butt! You will find them on the net, i ordered them thru the local bike shop and had them the next day yay!

Have to agree there Neo Mugello is bloody good stuff.

Made in Holland and it kept me warm and dry all winter too.

My wife tried it on jacket was a good fit, pants were slightly out as they are a male cut.
Buy these and you cannot go wrong they come in blue, red and black.

Pants come in "Ladies" cut too AND short leg if you need it, If you take out the liners make sure you don't wear undies with lace, chaffing is chronic! know any thing to fix that?

Know exactly what you mean. I had a real problem with finding pants, ended up with leather pants. Then my partner who use to work in parts at a bike shop finally found me Ixon Luna textile pants, and I love them, great fit, quite a high back, so no gapping with jacket on etc.

Thanks everyone for your responses, it's been really helpful. I don't know if it is just because most of the pants (bike clothes in general really) are in european sizes or what. I have noticed that with boots as well.

I've been online and found some things to look at so here is hoping I can find me something that fits to keep me safe.

    Thanks again.

3 B cream! I am not teasing either, there is a cream you buy at the chemist that prevents chaffing in 3 critical areas. They start with B apparently.

I have had a look on the net and can't seem to find these. Can you remember the name of the store you got them from so I can get in contact with them? Thanks

I find women's sizing to be like wedding sizing - I was a size 12 when I got married but my dress was a size 14 - it's to make you think you're fat when you're not! I have also been disappointed when trying on women's riding pants to not fit into an XL despite being a size 14 now. I ended up buying some mens' pants from a shop in Hamilton for about $190 and they are really comfortable - albeit a bit high in the waist for a short-waisted person! Unfortunately I've just checked and they have NO BLOODY BRAND NAME in them anywhere! They have removable liners and zip/velcro closing on the legs. Zipped pockets with velcro closing too. Roomy in the hips but not too big elsewhere, and mine are the short leg ones. (Well, the label says SHT LG - draw your own conclusions!)
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

They will be mugello pants if short leg.
