Thanks Murray.. Good to hear that the downed rider didn't hurt themselves too much and will be able to ride again soon (that's if they didn't ride it home).. Must admit we were very much relieved when Kane reported back that you (Murray) were safe and well too..

Brooke - You rode well, you didn't hold us up at all.. these are "laxed out" rides after all.. just ride to however you feel comfortable and try not to feel pressured in any way

Bloody good day out. Really enjoyed it. It was good staying on someone's wheel on the way back and worked out a few things. As you lot noticed, I don't have that many k's under that belt and it was real good way of clocking them up. Much more fun then going on solo missions.

Bloody good ride to Oto as well. Will definitely be doing that "block" a few times. Will most probably end up in Wellington, but hey, it'll be fun

All I have to do now is work out who's who on here so I know what bikes they ride.

Good to hear everyone is (reasonably) OK. The dude on the mello' yellow was hauling ass so I can imagine his mates would have been doing the same.

Appreciate the encourage towards Brooke as well. I was kinda thinking I was holding you lot up as well but thought if you wanted to pass you would have. I mentioned that to her but you know how woman are.

anyone got ideas for next sunday??
I was trying to think of this as well. I drew a blank. Then again, I didn't know about the back road to Oto.

Yep there will be another one. We are open to suggestions.

Paddy - have you got some more good ones?

Hopefully I will make it this weekend!

Personally think the Coro loop should wait until a better guarantee of good weather and make a big day of it. Breakfast etc etc beers afterwards.

I think we should be looking at route 22 (I think). Is that the one that continues up to Port Waikato??? Its a good twisty run with not too much traffic. And you can take the road out to Raglan turn up Waingaro way and through nike (or some name like that) Not sure if as mentioned above that the road goes into mercer??

    Sounds good murray

I am really keen on doing the breakfast thing aye... the more i think about hashbrowns and bacon before a ride, the more it just seems to go well!

    Is it still an option?
    Who's interested?

?? I don't know, havent really looked at it. I think the idea was proposed by Mr Terminal Addict earlier and he mentioned Mercer. I have done the road (by cage) from Bombays to Port Waikato and back down through to Ngawahahia but cannot remember a road off it through to Mercer. Will have to do some map searches. Yes can do breakfasts for $10 for "laxed out ride members" on the Sunday mornings but would have to let me know numbers and 9.45ish at the latest.
