    Crazy or what?

A nice chap buys THE BEAST from the dealer after I traded it in.

My much "worked" and loved M109R has been snapped up in days and much of its mods replaced with standard parts again.

    gets more interesting....

Bought by a chap who just got his full licence and has never ridden anything bigger than a 250 (and is a little fella... compared to me).

    and the best bit....

Said to me today that he is scared to ride it but is already pillioning his Mrs (and no I didn't do her right there and then).

Shit mate - good luck with the big bike. And yes I will take you up on the offer of riding with you a few times and show you how to avoid wayward sheep running on the road.

And yes we will visit the ginga-cop living next door to you Putting his ticket-fetish aside he is actually a nice enough bloke.

I still think the M50 would have been a better purchase.

It's his money. It's good he's scared, but not so scared he won't ride it.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Fear is a healthy thing as long as it allows a person to react rather than freeze up.

Toaster yep it is a big bike for any person, the trick is only use the throttle needed to do the job, and keep the ego well in check..
A lot of slow cone riding coupled up with a handfull of emergency braking and avoidance skills would be needed as well u would know, with bikes that size the brain has to think ahead..Hope he enjoys his bike and gets his skills upgrade to a good standard before taking a pillion on as well...Hope all is going well for you and your new machine...

I think the bigger bikes are only a little bit more difficult at slower speeds. Once you have a bit of pace on theyre as easy as to ride.

I don't think your poll options are very well balanced!

I don't think most learners could do it.

Pretty sure I could have but I'm a big guy and I took my 250 all over the South Island which I can't think many 250 cruiser owners do. So I had quite a bit of experience

crazy as, bad choice of bike. should have got a Buell.

i can understand taking it back to standard, most mods are not done properly so the safest bet if you dont know the full history is to un-mod.

not saying that is was not moded properly by you toaster
