Heh Dino looking forward to seeing that new bike of yours!

    BBQ sounds awesome!

I will bring some rum again in my fuel bottle (the taste of petrol has just about gone) so again I may be in need of some coke (ice and little umbrellas would really set it off!).

Phil and I will probably be in Thames on the Friday night, anyone else going to be over that way then?

Crisis, what is this heading home thing, how about stay the night then leave early in the morning?

    Mike

I hope I can still come along. Should be ok. Might bring me some vodka so hopefully there'll be some coke around!

Hope my back tyre lasts until then!

    That looks good thanks Cary.
I suspect that I am the southernmost Auckland resident and only about 100 m off the motorway.
I was wondering if any of the others wanted to assmble chez bass for the trip down to the Kopu pub. I was contemplating a slightly devious route which could take in e.g. the Hunua gorge and the coast road through Kaiaua.
I may not be as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I always was.

Perhaps the Autobahn might be easiest for those of us with Souf Auckers, but if your place is easy to find then either or...

Looking forward to it! First camping experience with bike

I thought about that and it's absolutely no skin off my nose either way mate.
However, if you want to go via the gorge or Kaiaua, then you overshoot the turnoff to get to the Autobahn and the route to the gorge goes past my front gate.
It probably depends most on what time your Missus kicks you out of the sack.
