BUT, out of the all the bikes I've seen on the road since I started riding (not long, maybe seen 20 bikes?) I've only had one acknowledge me, he was on a sports/tourer and he was also probably just thanking me for letting him in infront of me. Makes you feel kind of shitty+silly if you wave to someone and you don't get anything back!

Yes it does make you feel a bit silly when bikers don't wave/nod back...kind of arrogant I think.

I was out yesterday and only about 1/3 waved back...such a fantastic day too...one would think they would all be happy to be out there

just wondering why it seems on my daily ride why do the cruser style bikes never wave back? even when im warning them of the cop ????? strange is this some marcho im soo beter than you on your jap rice burner thing???????? just curious is probally in a thread somewhere already im a nice guy wave lol,
the nice gurl standing in the bus stop by airport thaught so well actually she didnt wave rather lift her top lol musta been cold out airport 2nite gave her a freindly wave.

I was riding up kaitoke once and had just passed a cop on the side of the road there was a guy on a chopper with a german helmet and scarf heading my way so i put my arm up and made a twirling motion to warn said rider of the fuzz he slowy raised his hand as if to wave and say "thanks matie" and gave me the bird ....i must say he looked pretty cool as he did it, i just cracked up and shook my head.

My missus used to have a VW Beetle years ago and all V Dub drivers used to wave to each other. She told me how she waved at another VW driver as they were going round a roundabout. The other girl waved back, lost control of the car and rolled it.

Everyone ok, no injuries.....I fecking wet myself when I heard that.....

Tried an electraglyde classic today. Short trip Welly/Petone/back courtesy Welly Motorcycles.

Waved to other bikes. Great to see the shock on their 'faces' - wot a harley wave to me!
Have wanted to try a harley for zonks - now i know. Had to walk up to the front of the bike to change gears (well after my VFR)- not that changing was really necessary.
